Kind of missing the point. Any sensor can sense the chakra flow. It doesn't matter on the level of the sensor there. I even showed a Ao as well who noticed Shisui's ka active even. If there is a disturbance in the flow, you know a genjutsu is active.

minato can change his chakra to sensor remember??
using that he can clearly deduce when the amaterasu will hit.....for gods sake even Ay dodged it......
as for genjutsu minato was a hokage and had a student who was a uchiha so he can clearly fight without using his eyes like guy can...
as for susanoo all minato needs is FTG to speed blitz itachi.....or just use some of his uzumaki sealing techs to block the usage of chakra or sealing the susanoo....

Tsukuyomi cant be broken unless you have Sharingan.
