If he intervened sooner, it's the Bijuus who would have escaped

Huge creatures like the bijuu would'nt be able to get away fast enough in the time it took Madara to deal with Tobirama,second he would've still hunted them down or prevent the bijuu from escaping by using techniques like the Uchiha barrier.There is nothing Tobirama could've done that would change the outcome of what happened.

Anyone who says he's a failure hasn't been reading this manga or is just hating...
He's a very well acomplished shinobi and T Bogard already showed lots of examples of his greatness.
Can a failure be Hokage? No. Simple as that.
He did the best job against Obito + Kurama, saved the Alliance as soon as he got to the battlefield and then played a huge role in defeating Obito. He has saved many lives, i don't see how that is failure.

Not because the opponent is overwhelming powerful that you should decide to give him tailed beast when if you intervene it wouldn't happen. Even if Madara had strong enough power to replicate the same scenario again and again, if in one of the thousand times, you are capable to prevent it, you should because one never knows what can happen next. Tobirama simply had no excuse not to intervene before
