Who is more overrated? Sasuke or Naruto?

not if he goes all 8 gates lol, he could probably own those 2 then. and naruto wasn't a natural bad*** either, he had to work really hard to accomplish any of his jutsu's.

but ya in a lot of ways i guess he isn't like a super badass like naruto or sasuke.

Who said Naruto -was- a natural badass anyway? I don't know.. if Lee unlocked the 8th Gateway (the Death one), he still wouldn't be able to handle the Sharingan.. probably

Not to mention at least Naruto sets bound for himself. He now dosen't like to use Kyuubi's power. of course Naruto could kill anyone if he let the nine tails loose. Sasuke gets it however he can, curse seal , and he even wanted a bijju of his own... Selfish Sasuke.

i think that naruto has to become much stronger to stand against sasuke, i'm not sure weather his new jutsu and the sage mode are enough, cause they need much time and ameratsu is a really deadly attack.
however, i think that the sage-training is made by kishi to bring him to sasuke's level, same goes for sasuke becoming more weak by loosing his cs and becoming wounded so hard.
i think that naruto was overrated very much for a long time, he couldn't do anything of himself, now we'll have to see what he can do with his new sage mode.

Well he could techinically rip the little piece of paper that say "Seal" on it off the cage th Kyuubi is in releasing it's fury upon the world

Now everybody knows that Naruto has the new sage technique that allows him to use the nature's chakra and a lot of people say that's overrated.
But isn't Sasuke more overrated?
First: He has a new form of sharingan which even Madara doesnt have.
Second: All the moves Itachi used to have: Susanoo, Ametarasu and a lot more is know handed down to Sasuke...
Finally: His teammates, Karin: you're fully healed as long as you bite her, Juggo: The source of Orochimaru's evil hicky and Suigetsu: who summoned a whole freaking ocean. Now who do you say is overrated?

Then Sasuke would have the Chidori techs, Kuchiyose and Katon teachs. No movement following with sharingan no MS no Amaterasu no Susanoo...so let us think who the hell is over-rated? SASUKE clearly.

And by analyzing the power-ups think about it. Naruto pwned a few Pain bodies before he went 9-tail. Who did Sasuke pwn with his Sharingan? I have an objective point of view but everyone has to admit that Sasuke got a shitload more of bull-shit power ups then Naruto. It's a fact. And by simply analyzing the skills without BS power ups its clear that Sasuke is more overrated and helped by Kishi then Naruto. Sorry but this is my opinion.

I completely agree with your opinion. Sasuke wouldn't be able to use chidori either without sharringan because kakashi also was never able to master it until he got his sharringan. HE moved too quick for his eye to keep up. Even with sharringan sasuke was having troubles fighting Naruto without fox power during there first battle that kakashi stopped. Plus Naruto wasn't even trying to kill Sasuke but Sasuke was trying to kill NAruto. Regular rasengan would have swallowed up sasuke and his regular chidori no doubt. Which is one of the reasons why he went emo and tried to get more power from oro.
Kishi even admitted in an interview that the only reason why Naruto is the main character and has blonde hair and blue eyes is to get white american kids to watch his show(not in those words). Seeing how Sasuke resembles asians and Kishi is Asian, Sasuke would no doubt be powerful and awesome. And I can hate Sasuke all day long, its my constitutional right, plus he's a bad guy who betrayed people who genuinely cared about him, and he's just a made up fictional character so who cares?

i understand wat you are saying trust me... i also understand ppl think the power ups...
is unbalanced between sasuke & naruto... But in reality its not, jus in the manga....
if naruto was regular smart & not some wat dense... & could fight great hand to hand combat... along wit the 9 tails that was sealed in him from the jump.... he already has the upper hand.... but its not that way...

2 me its like kakashi & obito... Obito was always 2nd hand to kakashi cause of actions...
he was some wat like naruto.... and even wit sharringan activated....
he still wouldnt have the smarts of kakashi... which would still leave him wit the short end of the stick....

so all im saying is.. Naruto vs. Sasuke. Regular combat.. Sasuke would win...
Im not sayin naruto couldnt pull a victory off, but there skill level is not the same....
even with chakra being used and a few signature moves... sasuke has the upper hand...

and u are correct about the chidori thing... but thats jus 1 jutsu.. im sure he would have learned summin else.... and naruto and sasuke 1st fight.... sasuke really wasnt havin that much trouble... i jus think the fight was regular and not supose to be ownage...
and i dont think rasengan would have swallowed up chidoru... i think it would have been summin to happen to both of them like the 2nd battle... but they were able to take the pain.... and why everybody think sasuke emo ? lol... personally.. i think he jus thought naruto was way stronger than him.. and it was no way he could face itachi like that...
