That's what happens when you make threads while you're sleepy Zzz, not like many people take grammar so seriously on the internet anywaysLoling at that grammer....
True, there are other manga that are better than Naruto in this regard. Not everything is cheap drama of course but if Tenten was shown crying about Neji it would have been an example of it, at least for me. As for ill-placed, I didn't really think so, maybe because Neji's death never really made an impact on me.
As I said, I didn't laugh out loud but I appreciate some light-heartedness even during dramatic parts.
You say you like Oda's humor? You mean each straw hat having 1 joke that they use 15,000 times each? It get's old.
That's allI didn't expect to see her crying over it but I didn't expect her to bring it up in such a manner at the time. And Neji's death didn't have much of an impact on me either but that's another problem in itself for me that I'd get off-topic delving in to. I just felt that it was ill-placed b/c we're anxious for answers in the manga yet we're seeing Kishi take the time to put a decent amount of focus on this.
That's dramatically oversimplifying things. Anyways, I have no intent of starting a flame war on this thread so you can leave if you feel the need to discuss that you feel Oda's humor is repetitive.
I can respect light-heartedness in dramatic scenes, Oda does it a good bit with One Piece. I just feel like this wasn't Kishi's best shot at doing itThat's all
To me it didn't feel more ill-placed than that time when Naruto forgot that ninjutsu didn't work on Obito. And I want answers to but I also appreciate Kishi not rushing the plot too much. When you re-read the chapters the pacing doesn't seem to be slow. But well, I won't argue with you.
Yikes, we're just disagreeing all over the place huh? Let's just agree to disagree
Nope i laughed. American humor bores me. I like Kishimoto's.
I was like SMH , my niqqa gai. AHAHAHAH Mfin BOSS
