i think its really simple actually.. madara sent sasuke to the kage meeting so he would get worn out(zetsu snitched hem)
then madara picks up sasuke and plants itachi's eyes in sasuke while sasuke is unconscious or at least unable to do anything.
madara waited for sasuke to get worn out cause itachi allready stated that madara is a shell of hes former self, so he cant really take sasuke by force while sasuke is at full strength.

Now Sasuke gains ems and madara steals it.......

erm uchiha madara is more than capable of removing sasuke if wanted so hardly correct in that theory and i think it has more to do with revenge on konoha for destroying uchiha clan when he was leader even though he dispised uchiha

we havent seen tobi/madara using any offensif jutsu, so u cant say that... i think that he still needs to get hes strength back

Yeah, and on the Konoha Destruction Arc, he was the one ordering Pein, so he could take the power of Tsunade as Hokage.

when kakashi asked tobi what he wanted with sasuke, tobi said he wanted to be complete. as in, tobi is not complete now... i don't remember tobi busting out his EMS but he claims to be madara. perhaps tobi doesn't have EMS or madara has lost it some how... OR maybe moons eye is what you get when you combine two EMS together? I'm sure whatever it is, it has to do with gaining power to take out revenge on the hidden leaf.

We've seen that he is still able to use Taijutsu and weave out of Ninjutsu/Taijutsu with ease. There's nothing stopping him from teleporting and putting a kunai into Sasuke. He could've forcibly put Itachi's eyes into Sasuke when he had brought him to his lair. I think Madara wants a far greater power the EMS.

Very much indeed.. I believe so too. Remember, previously in his fight with the first, he had the EMS and still lost. Madara is reaching for something way higher than the EMS. Perhaps the power of all the tailed beasts on a leach, or sealed and controlled inside of him by the use of his sharingan, who knows..:hypertobi:

I think the story of Rikudou Sennin's children in recent times was pretty convenient at this stage of the manga. I think he wants the Sharingan at it's purest state since it may have been stronger with the older brother but he was sealed away. But that's another theory for another thread
