Flying Types in Naruto = Incredibly OP.

I was just watching the anime fight between Gaara and Deidara while playing Pokemon X at the same time, and I've been led to realize something.

Flying types in Naruto are incredibly OP.

UNLIKE IN POKEMON, there are very few non-flying types that have abilities that can harm Flying Types; I.E. Deidara, to some extent Ohnoki, Gaara, hence why these people are frequently paired to fight each other.

Most flying types can defeat non-flying types, regardless of rank. I also find it quite amusing how the only flying types are usually boosted in rank by two or three slots just because of their ability to fly.

They're op but it's not like it saves them from the upper tiered characters. Oonoki is super OP for being able to give out the ability to fly though

I guess you realize the saying that "I have the high ground" has merit in true battle.

So yes you're right. Those who can fly, jump high, (like Naruto) hover, and levitate in Naruto have a distinct advantage over fighters who can't.

OT: It's a truth alot of people don't want to admit. While it's true some characters can close a gap quickly and possess the ability to still fight against a long-range user without much disadvantage, the majority of shinobi don't. There are even some very powerful shinobi that can get destroyed due to a flight advantage.
