Saiyan Question

Before anyone asks, yes, I am making this thread because of the little Superman vs Goku argument in the power levels thread.

Anyways, it made me think: If a Saiyan gets stronger when he is beaten to near death, why wouldn't the Saiyans abuse their regenerative abilities? Why wouldn't they nearly kill each other and become infinitely strong? Vegeta knew about the Saiyan's regenerative ability, so I think it's fair to assume all the other Saiyans knew of it as well. Why was it not abused by them? :eww:

Because there were a few sayians left after frieza destroyed their home planet and maybe the few sayians left didn't know about it

Because after turning into super saiyans, the zenkai boost is almost completely ceased, and the saiyans only get more powerful by intense training and battles.

But if you're talming about the saiyans frieza kiled, it's because frieza killed them before they had the chance to do that. Remember: saiyans always thought that they were the most powerful in the universe.
