For a filler, I really enjoyed it. Really nice insight and it was good to see how obito recruited nagato in the end. That last scene where we see yahiko(pein) was nice.

Animation was alright.

Overall, I give it 4.5/5.

I don't get why people always say filler as if it is a synonym of bad. It was nice to see the other Akatsuki members interacting with each other and how they were even sacrificed to save their friends only to be defeated by the ovewhelming power of Obito. Plus the fact that after killing them Obito took a breath and Zetsu asked him if he was okay goes to show that Obito didn't become immediately invincible and that he needed some time adjust to his new powers in order for him to control them efficiently.

fillers like these matter, as they add more of a closure and insight to certain characters

as im sure the kakashi anbu arc will

And that goes to show how can someone stick to one's beliefs without being capable of judging objectively. If you hadn't read the manga, you wouldn't even understand the difference in this episode; quite in contrary you would like it or at least not hate it.

awesome episode. The way these fillers in last 3 part were done,it's as if kishi helped them to add things he wasn't able to do in manga due to editors deadlines.

Nice episode, we finally got to see the WHOLE backstoy of the amegakure orphans. But i've got to say it, Danzou & Obito are such big fat coksukers U_U

We already knew how he became immobile during the pain attack on konoha arc... the scene where Nagato goes all out was already shown then


I loved this episode. We've never seen how it went from Akatsuki with the Ame orphans and their group to the criminal organisation. Now we finally do know. And it just made me hate Obito again. If it wasn't for him, the group could've reached Nagato and Yahiko and help them save Konan...

Awesome episode. The next one is the start of Kakashi Gaiden 2.0, but I hope they include specific recruitments of Akatsuki members somewhere in this arc.

It was so sad to see how Obito simply transported away from that Kyusuke guy. It was a cool technique but the only counter to Obito's kamui is another kamui.

I was pleasantly surprised by the nice artwork this episode. This is an example of a good filler. I'm looking forward to the Kakashi ANBU arc now. We've gotten a long period of canon episodes the past months so a break from it is normal.
