I don't know if this has been answered before.

Isn't it possible to announce news (like the break we have this week) at the same part where you guys upload the new chapter /episode? that way it is easier to see for everyone, cause some of us blow our own brains out to the amount of threads we keep seeing everytime when there is a break, where the new chapter is. And it is obviously with that, that people don't use the search tool or anyway to find the specific thread why there is no manga. That way if you post it at the same part where you upload chapters/episodes, everyone will see it.

I like this idea, it would be great for the guests as well as no one would have to search for it in a thread or anything. It could be right on the homepage or even at the top every page. Like when the base was shutdown and that had the text above the Naruto characters for the wallpaper or when there were system updates. If "The manga will be on break for (insert date here) it could save a lot of confusion. Though it's crazy that this is even an issue since the last manga page tells us we're on break.

No, really. There is no need for that. xd If you really love reading Naruto Manga you'd have noticed it immediately~ :)
And I think there use to be a thread for this already.

Edit yup, I was right. Look here:

Naruto Manga section, sticky thread. Made by Ira and updated. :)))

If our guests are interested in knowing the date, they would not give up and search till they find it. Like I did. :p

Oh I'm well aware my friend Lol but obviously that's not the case with everyone around here. But it seems a lot of people don't know that Ira updates that thing anytime a break in the manga is called into question. Crypsis is merely making the suggestion to hopefully avoid less of the "When is the manga coming out?" kind of threads

Well there is a forum news box and I add such news to it usually hoping that people will take note. This time around the break was discussed so much already and a notice was on the last page of the manga it didn't occur to me. Will do now.

As for the rest- well that's up to you guys. Do not make threads about it but check the stickies first. Report any unnecessary duplicate threads and lead such user to manga schedule sticky if you want to help. ^_^

It's not only about the guests but people tend to overlook such thing and rather make a thread then look.

Well the problem is, no one (knows) looks at that thing, cause it is no where to be found on the home page, and that is usually the first thing members/guests look. And it has been shown many many times, that people don't use the search box or search the forum/history to see if there has been made a thread about but rather make one and blow our brains out with the amount of stupidity we come across.

so that's why it was a suggestion to just make a small notice box or something that shows us there is a break.

I have to agree, because clearly some people cannot read/find the thread dedicated to the manga release. The notice needs to be more 'in-the-face' of the members. When I was new to this forum long ago, it was confusing, so especially for members who are 'less experienced' with the forum, it can be a pain trying to find such information. It would theoretically reduce the spam regarding the the release of a chapter whilst on a break. I say it should be implemented. Dunno what the people in charge think, but I see no harm in it at all; only a positive impact on the board.

Edit: Just noticed the Forum News box. That's good, but you could embolen it; make it red; make it something that will stand out.

1-You are not looking properly. News box is pretty much on forum Home page. You can call it notice box if you wish. But it exists and has been there for a while now.

2- People post same threads back to back even when the last one on the same topic is on the top of the first page. Nothing much can be done if users are making threads blindly. We can only clean it and hand out infractions for it and we do that when need be.

Edit: Just noticed the Forum News box. That's good, but you could embolen it; make it red; make it something that will stand out.
You just noticed it?

Anyway- color codes don't work for it( I tested). It wouldn't look neat either even if it did. If manga is not there when you believe it should be just check the schedule or look up for news in the news box. Really we cannot spoon feed and people ultimately have to learn how to find their way around the forums.
