See, this is where people get confused and offended. It is less effective and inspiraring, but for a very logical reason.

Blacks, Mexicans, and so forth were put through much in their history and still are even today. It's not like people think they wouldn't claim their race, but too claim it in such a proud manor dispite the hardships the race undergoes is much more inspiraring.

Don't get me wrong, all races go through hardships. circassians hardships are just not so publicised.

For an example. A White elementry student was bullied by his fellow Mexican classmates.

What's the point, really. Imo, finding pride in your heritage/race is meaningless. So, I don't bother with it.

I've never really understood being proud of your skin color. I mean, I understand the whole "I'm black and I'm proud" thing from many years ag because there was a time when being black, or just not being white, means society viewed you as lesser, and tried to turn your race into a negative thing.

But today, while there are still racists, it's not like that anymore. For the most part, your skin color is just skin. Yes, I know that race can have some influence, but i just don't see the point of saying you're proud of your skin.
