Hmm. He's more of what you call a well-intentioned extremist. More specifically, it seems he has a few traits of Machiavelli.

For example, this quote representing one's devotion and patriotism.

If you reword to fit Danzo, it would be, which would make sense in a way.

So Danzo's reasoning for his actions would be to maintain power for his village.

I agree with that.
I'm actually reading about Machiavelli a bit now.
Get me the cross and nails and i will gladly do it.

Weren't we friendly at one point?

I don't exactly understand why Dark Artist is even permitted to use the internet.

I feel like his handlers should know better.

don't hurt his feelings he is a sensetive dude

i think Danzo's meat is expired and even the worms don't want to eat it

there must be an option for " killed by a Uchiha "

Danzo is best described as a morally gray character. While his actions may have been beneficial to Konoha at points in time, there were detrimental effects caused as a subsidiary of his actions. All comes down to personal, and often subjective opinion.

Once again, I find your opinion totally worthless.

Pretty much. I like to categorize Danzō's actions.
What he did with Hanzō and his unwillingness to defend Konoha from Pain were bad.
His actions at the Kage Summit were kinda inbetween
And the Uchiha Massacre and his labeling Sasuke as a criminal were good
Imo

I agree. Again, it comes down to how you view the situations. And that transcends into opinions, and a subjective debate can arise.

I'm sorry... who are you again?

I am he who parts the red sea. I am he who forces mountains to bow before him. They call me a name too terrifying to reveal in public.

Wasn't he the reason for creating Pein and the massacre of the Uchiha clan. I believe he followed what the Second Hokage would have done. Not sure what to label him as.

That's essentially what makes him morally grey. Playing a huge part in the creation of "Pein" is a bad thing in terms of the detrimental effect it had overall, but the actions he took against the Uchiha clan were beneficial in the long run, for the village primarily.

It depends really, He is shady, No one ever knows what he is up to. He claims he does what is right for the village, others see it as cruel dictator like.

I would say Danzo himself would say he is neither Good nor Bad. He is someone iin the shadow who protects the village without remorse.

I really don't think he is either.

Both. He had good and bad inside him. He desired power for the sake of power, but he also wanted peace. These two desires often clashed in his decision making, and ended up backfiring at times. He was at fault for a lot of things in NV, but was also innovative and down to Earth.

Danzo was like a coin. Two halves of the same person, good and bad.

Danzo was in league with Orochimaru when it comes to his bad deeds. At least Orochimaru was honest with himself and didn't try and pretend to be a good guy.
