Danzō is by far the most controversial character in Naruto. Many claim that he was a great man who would do whatever it took to defend his home and people, others claim he was a self-serving wannabe tyrant who only cared for himself.
What do you think, is Danzō Shimura good or bad?

Personally, I think he's neither. I think he's more complicated than black and white.

in the middle, he united the shinobi world (i.e the ninja alliance) but he has done some dark things for the village...

I don't think he's good, or bad.

But I also think a prick is a prick no matter what way you look at it.

he was good.

He was willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the village. he didn't let morals and ethics blind him to the best action available. these actions weren't always popular but did produce results.

Danzo is Evil , and he is too weak to be Evil IMO

he is one of the weakest villians in the show if not the weakest ( Gato is debatable )

also he was such a Coward when he used sharingans

just to protect himself against any pay back from a Uchiha

and thats what happened when Sasuke ( MS ) Finish him off like a Boss

That's a toughie. If on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being bad to the bone and 10 being goody-two shoes, I'd but Danzo at a 4

Danzo is good.

No denying it. His goals are for, what he believes to be the greater good. In his eyes he's the hero Konoha requires to stay afloat and everything he does is for the purpose of protecting the country and village he loves.

Even if it means temporary destruction to bring it back even stronger.

You're so right. Your command of the English language and your vast knowledge and undeniable intellectual superiority truly shame everyone else. Only transcendent beings like yourself realize that to be evil, physical strength is the most important thing.
OT: One of the reasons I believe Danzō is Kishi's best character is because he makes the audience think. Kishi never said if he's straight good or evil, like Orochimaru and Hiruzen. "A greedy dictator? Or rather, the noble personification of shinobi? The roots are deep, truly deep..."
And his death was... Just flawless.

Hmm. He's more of what you call a well-intentioned extremist. More specifically, it seems he has a few traits of Machiavelli.

For example, this quote representing one's devotion and patriotism.
For Machiavelli, Florence was the object of his patriotism, and which he tried to serve with single minded devotion.
If you reword to fit Danzo, it would be, which would make sense in a way.
For Danzo, Konoha was the object of his patriotism, and which he tried to serve with single-minded devotion.
So Danzo's reasoning for his actions would be to maintain power for his village.
The Prince embodies Machiavelli's response to the Italian crisis of disunity and foreign domination. Out of its pages, as George Bull put it in his introduction to the work, "strides the figure of the autocrat, the new man, ruthless, efficient, and defiant, the literary forerunner of the new monarchs of the sixteenth century."

Machiavelli's aim in the Prince is to tell the new rulers how to remain in power once they have gained it. The best way is to rule well. If this is not possible, then Machiavelli presents a variety of strategems for remaining in power. It is these which have given us the adjective "Machiavellian."
