PLEASE TRY AND READ THE ENTIRE THREAD BEFORE RATING OR JUMPING TO BOTTOM OF POST!
So I noticed that when Sasuke first heard the name Madara Uchiha- He seemed angry and did not want to know who he was
Further- he did not see him as but a memory, only as somebody to surpass and kill!
After being ****ed with by Itachi, it was no surprise that Sasuke got extremely angry and up to the current chapter he probably still feels like Madara is just someone who should die and go to hell without giving a chance to understand his story!
Itachi left Sasuke with the truth and his true feelings, and Team Hebi appears to show him the scroll and tell him that the REAL Madara is on the field and he is shocked!
In the end, it was as if Sasuke's wish to kill Madara after Itachi was fulfilling what Itachi wished to do; stop Madara- the corrupted Uchiha, and coincidentally this flashback panel right after seems to Sasuke with a lot to digest concerning Shisui and Itachi's will to change the Uchiha and protect the village!!!
But in order to be confident in protecting the village he had to hear the hearts of the village elders!!!
It is apparent that he currently realized the importance of protecting the village, however it seems like his anger and goals were shifted towards taking down Madara, while Madara wanted to possibly include him in his plan to dominate the world and both resolves were erred (wrong).
It is very likely that Sasuke got a bit prideful from getting the chance to speak with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Hokages and wanted to settle his score with Madara Uchiha by killing him, rather than being patient in his actions! And NARUTO POINTED OUT THAT SASUKE WAS BEING RECKLESS USING AMATERASU ON HIM- HE LET HIS EMOTIONS GET THE BEST OF HIM- AFTER ALL HE KNOWS THAT MADARA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR A LOT OF SUFFERING IN HIS LIFE AND OTHERS!

Proving again that he doesn't want to see Madara's angle or think before he acts
As Hashirama wanted to pass him with a new technique; Sasuke looks annoyed at the fact that Hashirama sees him as similar to Madara's brother and is only concerned with knowing how this information will benefit him in defeating Madara. So once again; lack of understanding!
The irony of this next page is that Madara still held anger toward Tobirama for killing Izuna, but ended up stabbing Sasuke right after he said this.
Lastly:
I believe that regardless of the darkness Madara understood and unlocking the EMS, Madara understood more than anyone; that a sacrifice would have to be made in order to come to terms with the loss of his brother. And given the opportunity MADARA WOULD HAVE KILLED HIMSELF OR HIS BROTHER FOR THE SAKE OF PEACE BUT HASHIRAMA ON SECOND THOUGHT KILLED MADARA WHO WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO HIM, INSTEAD OF MAKING A SACRIFICE FOR PEACE!!!
THEN: THIS ULTIMATELY SHOWED THAT HE WOULD BE WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIS BROTHER FOR THE SAKE OF HIS IDEA OF PEACE!
AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TO BRING OUT THE TRUE POWER OF THE UCHIHA- SASUKE MUST BE CLOSE TO DEATH IN ORDER TO GARNER HIS NEW EYE!
IZUNA WILL LIVE ON THROUGH SASUKE, SASUKE MUST OBTAIN THE RINNEGAN THROUGH NEARLY DYING AND EXPERIENCING SENJU CHAKRA AND BEING ON EQUAL TERMS AS A BROTHER TO MADARA! WHETHER MADARA PLANNED IT OR NOT- SASUKE WILL DEFINITELY SURVIVE JUST LIKE MADARA DID!
THIS WOULD EXPLAIN HOW BOTH SASUKE AND MADARA WILL UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER, AND AT THE SAME TIME SASUKE MAY END UP JOINING MADARA'S SIDE!
