Seems Spiral Zetsu was not loyal to Obito at all

Considering how strong Spiral Zetsu is, I wondered why Kishi would wait so long to bring him out as a weapon. I mean he's using wood release on SM Hashirama's level, you would think a trump card like that would be used by Obito before he got defeated? After thinking about it, the only conclusion I can come to is that Spiral Zetsu was not at all loyal to Obito at all. He must have stayed hidden ever since Obito took over, perhaps by convincing Obito he died at some point to help him escape his detection.

Either way, there is no way Spiral Zetsu was still loyal to Obito or he would have been helping in the fight long before this. I think its clear that Spiral Zetsu is loyal only to Madara and only showed himself now because his strength is making the fight lean greatly in Madara's favor.

All Zetsus are only loyal to their original creator - Madara. Zetsus were never considering Obito as their friend or ally,it was all fake.

It's nowhere near Hashirama's level. Plus there's the possibility of Yamato being present inside Zetsu making him stronger.

You are all missing the point of the thread. Yes all Zetsu were ultimately loyal to Madara only, but up to the point of his defeat, all Zetsu showed a level of loyalty to Obito. They were aiding him and helping him to progress Madara's ultimate plan.

However, Spiral Zetsu did not help Obito at all during his time posing as Madara. Even when Obito was being defeated by the alliance he was a no show. During the entire course of Obito's effort to accumulate the Biju, he did not help him. My whole point here is that Spiral Zetsu likely hid away, keeping his presence unknown by Obito, and simply waited for direct orders once Madara was revived.

If he showed any loyalty, even the level of loyalty Black and White Zetsu showed Obito, he would have helped in the war before Obito was defeated.

Off topic, don't you find strange taht Spiral Zetsu's summoning was capable of using all of the 5 elements? Plus how abruptly was he re-enter the plot? I mean, I expected him at some point but in such a badass way.

Spiral zetsu's Budha isn't NEAR the level of Hashi's SM Budha.

Hashi's SM Budha was considerably larger when compared to 100% kurama on 4 legs.

But still, it's a giant feat. for it to use such a strong Mokuton technique, especially even if it can use all 5 basic elements.

Yes but considering how strong Spiral Zetsu is and the level of aid he could have granted Obito in the story up till now.... it makes no sense that he would not in some way help progress the plan. Unless he was hiding his presence from Obito for some reason, like having no loyalty to him.

I guess Hashirama's was significantly bigger, but he is the only other person (or thing) to use such a similar jutsu so it is comparable in a way.
