So we waited 2 weeks for 661 to be released. i personally don't think it disappoints.
It raised a lot of questions and confirmed some things as well. Lets go over some major points of this chapter.
So first off what is happening with naruto and gaara. The kyuubi mentions everything relies on gaaras actions now. Could this mean naruto (even being an uzumaki) might die from the extraction? Certain precautions need to be taken by gaara in order to prevent that it seems.
This chapter also proves, even at madaras improved state, that hashirama and tobirama would have actually been a threat to madara had they been revived with their full power. Madara confirms tobiramas previous accusations of being resurrected with "almost" full power.
Now we turn to Sasuke and Hashirama. It appears Hashirama has given sasuke a new jutsu. We are not aware of what kind of jutsu it is. Although i speculate that it could be something to do with healing possibly? Especially after sasuke getting stabbed fatally by madara moments after. what could it be?
Lets talk about madara/izuna/sasuke now. It appears that Madara has planned a little further than we thought (or at least i thought) and has anticipated a prodigy uchiha (sasuke) to develop powerful eyes. he mentions it here on the bottom left of the page.
Nurturing a new eye? This must mean sasukes ems.
Madara mentions another fight somewhere else. Is it possible he made a clone of himself fighting the kage again? we don't know what the kage are doing or other top shinobi. Or is it something else entirely?
Now the uchiha family has been mentioned multiple times in this chapter. Once by Hashirama when he points of similarities between Izuna and Sasuke. The next is at the end of the chapter, when madara mentions it doesn't matter whether it is a friend, brother or ....even his child. Now i know uchiha blood line is close, but this seems to be foreshadowing that maybe sasuke is directly bloodline related to madara. maybe grandson?
Finally, when sasuke attacked and then just completely stopped as if paralyzed. How did this happen? I might have missed it myself if anyone could explain.
