Except the people that live in the ghetto and red neck towns. most of them dont know almost anything. But ive lived there and even they knew that.... i dunno but 23% isnt that big of a number that must be the illegals.

Well this is partially cased from the fact that when kids get an ungraded test with a simple question, they will anser it wrong just to be badass or rebels or something. anyway I'm sure a highish percent still didn't know even with that factorso it is still sad

don't blame the students, the educational system in the USA is extremely broken. instead of actually caring about what they students learn and if they actually retain any of that knowledge, all the government and schools care about is standardized test results. if a school does poorly on those tests they loose government funding, while schools that do well get more money.
