Jiraiya was the one who hyped him the most. His STUDENT. Of course he'd do that. I just don't see Minato beating Jiraiya.
Minato has his speed and a barrier to suck huge attacks.
His speed can be dealt with.

But I don't think Minato and Tobirama belong in top 10 either. Nor Itachi. :| Their skill level is not higher than the skill level of sannin.

Tsunade agreed with every statement of Jiraya about and even 3rd their own teacher admitted that Minato is strong enough to take on Oro,we barely know anything about that guy yet he is already a top 10 material.

Regardless of Jman's hype Minato already proved that he is a top 10 material.

Tsunade and Jiraiya are both strong enough to take down Orochimaru. Orochimaru is also strong enough to take down Tsunade and Jiraiya.
Also I seriously don't see how Minato actually could defeat Orochimaru. Only way is to make Orochimaru run out of chakra.

I meant that between the sannin and Minato there's not really that much difference in skill level. Anyone of the three could kill eachother. Itachi falls in the same category.

Itachi can fire off quite a few katons in fact. Katons + shuriken is enough abuse on her healing. All he does is keep tossing shuriken at her blind spots.

That was basic finger genjutsu that naruto still couldn't break. Sharingan genjutsu is far harder to break seeing as even sasuke and his sharingan had problems so... no.

She doesn't win but just for asking sake. Why do we assume katon drains her quickly when we only saw her handle a katon attack late game and to run out right after. Remembering they fought for quite a while even to the point it was night time?

Difference b/w the skills of Itachi/Minato and Sannin is that if there is a battle b/w 2 sannin we can't decide the winner that easily but in case of Itachi/Minato vs a Sannin,Itachi/Minato'll be the winner.
