I would love some information that would put this thread into context.

Did Kishi recently say something in an interview that warrants speculation?

Wow, they really indoctrinated you well..

government is in no way good for society and in no way is government order, it is chaos.
The reason government needs to lie is to maintain the illusion of (the legitimacy of) it's existence, government is a non-existent mythological entitiy in the religion called authority.

From the Latin verb gubernare: "To control" and the Latin noun mens: "mind"
Mind control.
Government is a neccesary evil, if anything about it should be critisized it is the fact that it places itself in affairs that do not concern it, and it is this kind of aggressive overly active government that people have learned to hate.

But let us not forget that we tried it a different way, Laissez Faire was a concept that we did test. And the Articles of Confederation only showed that this method was not a sustainable one.

Now if you have a problem with Government as a whole then you are dellusional. Government sprouted out of a need for 3 basic neccesities. Army, Regulations and Foreign Policies.

We needed an Army to protect us from our enemies but also to enforce laws, we need Laws and Regulations to instill control amoung the diverse massess, and we needed foreign policies for obvious reasons.

In Rome they tried it to where every land owning man was a part of the Government and they would have a democratic government which was alot like majority rules. When issues arised they would take votes and the majority would win. The only problem with this is that very few people are properly educated and votes can easily be swayed with bribes, misinformation and peer pressure. The current government may not be perfect, but it does the job.

*Fun Fact when the United States of America was formed George Washington, its first president, didnt think it would last more than 10 years.*

Btw.

Gubernare translates to mean the following: steer, drive, pilot, direct, manage, govern, conduct, guide, control

Mente tranlates to mean: Mind

Thus its job is to Govern or Control the mind. But ofcourse "Mind Control" is a buzz word that makes people think of men in white coats and flashing lights. In reality it is a concept, in order to have a truly peaceful society you cannot just control the mans actions. You must control his mind.

If you send a murderer to jail you are controlling his actions. By reforming him and removing his drive to murder, then you can controlling/reforming his mind. It is merely a connotation towards the fact that a society at large needs to have a meeting of the minds in order to survive. Ofcourse over time the idea of doing anything to anyones mind has gotten a negative connotation.

But you need to understand that this is what people in latin called their own government. And everyone in Greece spoke Latin, and they were freaked out by it rather they understood the context behind it. Many of the founding fathers were learned men called out system government much like the Greek did. The only problem is that the context of the word was not also brought over and the ignorant massess were left to come up with their own

A well thought out point, but you fall directly into the category of anti-government that I described. Again, being anti-government nowadays is a fad. Its not that I am strongly pro-government, in fact I am an inherent Libertarian which is against big government, but I understand that government is needed for our society. Yes its not perfect, but would you rather live in a communist country? I think not.

Great thoughts, tbh, I did not think the conversation would go in this direction and I don't have much to say in this department. My less informed position on government is simply that its a necessary evil for democracy to work and in the long run they are looking out for our best interests. You are right that governmental experiments have been done and proved failures, I know that, therefore I am not strongly anti-government nor pro big government.

OT:
The 2 notable quotes I am referring to is him stating he does not know how to defeat Madara atm (which actually makes sense considering how many upgrades he's give him) and an interview where he was asked what character he really liked or related to in his manga. If I remember this context right, he said that he did not really have a character he liked/ would converse with in real life. Then he later thought out loud and spoke about Lee's character and proceeded to state that yes he likes Lee's character.

If that was in fact a real interview question, it proves that Kishi does not think before answering and gives very blunt and unfiltered thoughts that are in no way professional. He needs someone there to help answer the questions, or like Gyaku said, get the questions in advance.

It's his decision to share his experiences with his and his manga's fans about the manga he's working.
Why would he need a lawyer? It's just he is open to his fans. He is giving some clues to his fans through his interviews and because he wants people to stick with the manga. Even when he admits his own desires about the manga as a fanboy, people (on the same side) expects more from him. for example, he admitted he is an Uchiha fan/fanboy.

There's no such thing as a necessary evil.. it's either evil or it's not.

Are you the almighty one that gets to decide where violence is necessary?
Now if you have a problem with Government as a whole then you are dellusional. Government sprouted out of a need for 3 basic neccesities. Army, Regulations and Foreign Policies.
People that believe in government are delusional, cause government really is an illusion, a failure in thought, a failure in emotion and a failure in action.

We needed an Army to protect us from our enemies but also to enforce laws, we need Laws and Regulations to instill control amoung the diverse massess, and we needed foreign policies for obvious reasons.
Who is this we you are talking about.. you're no different than the guy from mexico or the middle east..
who are this enemies? murderers and thiefs? yeah we need to allow people to steal and murder in order to protect us from people that steal and murder.

What do you think if a few people don't write down that murdering and stealing and raping is bad and do not send thugs in the street people will do that without hindrance?

Foreign policy as in dealing with other governments?

who decides what is properly educated?, if the government decides then properly educated means that you're a supporter of slavery (a statist)
the people of the world do their job to ruin the world.. i say the people of the world, cause government doesn't exist it's something that we do.. if people didn't have the delusion that there's this thing called "authority" vested in certain people then they would be viewed as every other criminal and thief out there.

there's nothing peacefull about a world runned by violence used by the wishes of some psychopathic control freaks (or anyone else for what that matters).

If you send a murderer to jail you are controlling his actions. By reforming him and removing his drive to murder, then you can controlling/reforming his mind. It is merely a connotation towards the fact that a society at large needs to have a meeting of the minds in order to survive. This has nothing to do with murderers in jail.. it's mind control on your average person, cause like i said government doesn't exist it's an idea that's being pushed in the mind of people. government education centers are government indoctrination centers.

But you need to understand that this is what people in latin called their own government. Every single 'flavor' of government is inherently the same.. people always get mad at government, but for fundamental reasons, no they want the violence to be used like they please, they want their flavor of government..

Anarchy isn't forced on people like a political ideology is, cause you only have 2 kinds of people in this world.
Statists and Anarchists, people that support slavery and violence in the name of 'the common good'/government and people that are against all violence.

It's a state of mind on a individual/microcosmic scale and a collective/macrocosmic scale if most people are statists then we'll live in a statist world.. if most people are educated and have a understanding of natural law we'll live in a anarchist world.

You must be registered for see images

Here's some information:

Note: when i'm talking about violence i'm talking about action that is violating someones inherent natural rights. i'm not talking about defensive force.

Someone has said something in an interview that isn't true! OH MY GOD HE NEEDS A LAWYER THEN!

Cause I am sure actors, hollywood film makers, novelists, politicians etc, ever lie in interviews at all or go back on things they say will happen or won't happen.

I think it is yourself who is being naive.

I noted in the original post that I didn't actually mean he needed a lawyer, that example was purely for explaining my point. A publicist, spokesman, whatever, that's what he needs.

What? No its the fact that he tells unfiltered truths regarding his thoughts on the issues related to the interview questions. He doesn't lie, he gives terribly thought out answers to the questions without even thinking about it. Also, I've stated 3 times now that I didn't actually mean he needed a lawyer, but more so a publicist or spokesman. Please read threads before posting -_-.

to who made the tread I dont care about the interviews but if you want kishis point of view and stuff about him buy the manga. It has a page about him every now and then. For some fan boy to ask questions about the manga and main up coming points hes being nice and not telling him to stop with the question because he doesnt yet know what he will do with the series.
as for government stuff a man is messured by his words so if what you say is full of $h!t your full of $h!t. It should be law to not lie to people to get elected and if you do you get your position stripped for you the next day. Im for a true democracy and not a democratically elected society.

i wouldn't take statements such as the madara defeat as literal

he would be unable to give a realistic end to the manga if so, and would face extreme pressure from the publishers as well as damage his persona

it was more of a statement to hype to the present crowd that Madara is too strong

I was obviously being pretty blunt with some of my statements and didn't realize some people would take it the wrong way. My point was that I would have preferred Kishi lie to us rather than tell us he doesn't know how to kill off Madara. I then compared my statement to the government, saying its sometimes better to be lied to than know the full truth. Its not that I want everyone to lie to me, its that I am aware of the truth that you are lied to on a daily basis and suggest that Kishi at least consider filtering his interview statements. Again, I realize how my stating these things can ruffle feathers but its just my personal thoughts.

I mean just don't watch the interviews. If he thought it was neccessary to have a PR person with him he would.
But that's what I'm getting at, I don't think he knows what's best for his interviews and should reconsider.

In bold, that's exactly what I would be concerned about because his statement did indeed seem sincere.
