Hmmm its an interesting question. I'm leaning towards no. What I'm thinking is that since the flames appear on whatever Sasuke is looking at, they would appear directly on Neji, and therefore bypass the rotation.

Thats a vry good point.. u knw wat.. in the latest chapter.. we saw how kankurou used chakra threads to remove the samurai clothes wich were burnt with the black flames.. it seems like chakra threads didn't catch fire or atleast can shield from the black flames..
neji's absolute defense is made up of chakra spinning.. so I wud say if kankurou's chakra threads cud shield it.. so can neji's absolute defense.. n guess wat.. if thats true then kyuubi chakra can also be used to shield from it.. y caz during naruto-neji fight naruto in kyuubi mode defeated neji's defense...

So in the time for flames to reach neji, he may spin quick wnough to counter it. But it shoudl make it at least like 30 cm form it hands. Normaly ratation is a relatively small layer of chakra. if so, his hands may get caught in amaterasu.

i would say no, because if we count this as a chakra shield, it should react in the same way as killerbees 8-tailed version. first the shield begins to burn and jumps over to the user/host if he releases it. killerbees bunshin was burned and killerbee would have been too if he had been inside the burning part when 8-tailes form ended.

I'm a maybe here, so I went yes because I'm hopeful. Gaara's sand stopped it, so it's quite likely other jutsu can stop it. Gaara's sand is his ultimate defense, and Neji's is the rotation. If he improved it over the time-skip it's possible. Before the time-skip, no. In his fight with Naruto, they both blew up, and Naruto wasn't even one-tailed.

Problem is that it's supposed to repel the attack, so the people around him might get flamed, lol.

no why? sasuke broak tsukuyomi with an strongly powered genjutsu, which has basically nothing to do with the sharingan. that he used sharingan for that and cs2 to increase its power doesnt change the fact that its a genjutsu, not a doujutsu.

Well Ao's byakugan saw through Danzo's sharingan genjutsu which is supposed to be one of most powerful eye techs... byuakugan can see flow of chakra.. so there is a chance it might be able to.. However, tsukyomi acts in 1 sec, so I don't know if it is poss for byakugan to break that

Sure, it "obviously" eats chakra, since it hasn't done so before. O_O

Interesting question. If Neji were already halfway through Rotation, I'm guessing it will spin along with the rotation, saving Neji.

maybe he can block it as long as he's spinning, but he has to stop sometimes and when he does amateratsu will burn him instantly xD
