You're making it sound as if Madara is the only failure around. Every plan will obviously have a fail in it. It's common sense. If you're not smart enough to figure that, then educate yourself. Regarding of his plan, he could have still summoned his Chakra via black rod from Obito's body and forced him to cast Rinne Tensie. Madara however, preferred to see what Juubi is capable of, and the moment he sensed Hashirama's Chakra and stayed to battle him.

So no, he succeeded and he was smart as snake, since he found a new way to revive himself even with Obito becoming Jinchuuriki.

The only reason obito became the jinchuuriki is because the other kage were brought back.
He was fighting hashirama then minato came over to obito via previous ftg mark and cut his arm off.

Someone is taking things a little too seriously and it was quite the fail. Besides juubito would not have fallen prey to his chairs rod technique when he was so powerful as a jinchuuriki of the juubi that's why madara thanked naruto for taking care of obito.

There was nothing epic in obito's battle, they were all lame over drawn borefest nothing interesting at all. He has not moved the plot for over a year and dragged out the manga to it's lowest state. There was a reason why people have been dropping off the manga like flies, and it all happened on his arc. The only fun part is when his ass was getting handed to him.
