I agree that was actually thrilling and you did not know what to expect but with madara you just know with some BS he will get what he wants, still can't wait for the next chapter to see how he bends the rules next. P.s I'm thinking he will pull out Spacetime jutsu at some point lol

his plan to steal hashirama's sage mode was thought up by him after obito became the jinchuriki, he never had it previously planned because he didnt knw obito would do something like that his only counter was to use zetsu, but since hashirama was there and obito became the jinchuriki he seen that only sage mode had an affect on juubito then he came up with that plan and regardless of the fact madara would never have to touch juubito anyway because juubito was the main bad guy at the time and the SA including the main character naruto were going to take him down

OT: What everyone's said, he improvised... Really everything in this war is all wrong, it should've been a lot different. It's like someone changed history in the narutoverse, like it was SUPPOSED to be Nagato bringing Madara back to life, but Naruto convinced Nagato to bring konoha back to life....

Then Kabuto resurrected Madara via edo tensei....that in itself was a situation, which later resulted in Madara breaking the edo contract... Then LATER on having to FINALLY revive himself with the help of Black Zetsu taking over Obito's body.

If it weren't for Naruto and Kabuto, everything would've gone according to plan.
