And he even managed to gain the upperhand against Sasuke, and would've easily have killed him, if Sasuke didn't use another one of his cheap tricks which Kishi gave him.

Raikage, Jiraiya & Sarutobi, they're the greatest Shinobis yet. I would love to see how well Sasuke would fight against them without his Sharingan. Or how fast will Sasuke's current fanbase will reduce, if he should lose his Sharingan forever.

Give me a break, what I have seen from Raikage is that he is very powerful, uses lightning element, has CRAZY BAD temper and apperently doesn't think but just uses raw force and wrestling moves so how can you or anyone say he is one of the greatest shinobi ever blabla you simply havent seen enough of him to say this IMO. i like sasuke because i could understand what he did until the point where itachi died. and no, i am not emo i dont like the good guys in the most stories, because they often are simpletons, like harry potter, luke skywalker, son goku, ichigo and naruto just to name a few.
raikage's philosophy is pretty much the same sasuke has, he's driven by hatred and doesnt think that the weak will survive. so either you respect his strenght (which jiraiya doesnt have because he needed sm to do anything to pain, and sarutobi was if i'm not completely wrong related to the senjus) or his philosophy, which is completely different to the one the other two have.

towards sharingan: yes, it is an advantage, but otherwise the battle wouldnt be fair at all. raikage as one of the strongest ninja in the shinobi-world has to be pretty talented as well, is somewhere around fourty years old and therefore pretty experienced, and had information about sasuke's jutsus and style. but basically you are right, raikage definately is impressive and probably the strongest character outside of the senju and uchiha-clan so far.

@topic: sasuke will win this fight, because he's one of the two main characters. itachi's skills definately are overpowered, but sasuke's basic version of susano'o is pretty disappointing, and raikage is at least equal to sasuke until now.

His not stronger then the reikage, ****** is over-rated. the sharingan is over-rated, I bought his gonna win the fight, his getting beaten up, someone is gonna save is ass. the raikage has a counter for all his techniches and honestly speaking the 8 tails "killed him" if it wasnt for karin and jugo he'll be dead, he beat oro because he was weak and he admited it and all his fights he ended up really injured, he still has along way to go to catch up to itachi i dont really have a fav. character, im talking in a general point of view

It may be your opinion to refer to Sasuke's abilities as "cheap tricks" but let me remind you that I can do the same and declare Raikage's techniques cheap as well. Raikage who isn?t even a doujutsu user or have any tailed beast managed to deal pretty well with Sasuke and that is a fact but Sasuke is dealing with someone whom he has never met until their first encounter and had no preexistent knowledge of him. You claim people like Sasuke only because he is emo and they can relate or because of the Sharingan and that is so incorrect it isn?t even funny.

I understand that fans can get out hand with their ideas but you should be smarter and deal with them more politely. Kishimoto has never said that his character Sasuke was emo and people who call him that are just impudent fools that need to grow up. Mostly everyone in the story Naruto has had a down point in their life, just because Sasuke held hatred toward Itachi and now wants to kill the elders for what they put his brother through doesn?t mean he is emo and if you think so you should get some help.

The character Sasuke was mentally tormented by Tsukuyomi for 24 hours as a child, just imagine a seven year old child seeing his older brother massacre his entire village for a whole day over and over and you tell me you wouldn?t feel the same way as him when he grew up; wanting revenge and holding such hate. Emo is when a person is emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted or angst-ridden and Sasuke is following a path of hatred which is totally different.

It seems you are against the Uchiha clan for their doujutsu and you shouldn?t be because that?s basically saying in small words take away a shinobi?s best trait e.g., Raikage?s strength, Lee?s taijutsu, Naruto?s Sage Mode/ Kage bunshins, Deidara?s explosives and to many others to include. As Revan said, Raikage, Jiraiya & Sarutobi are all some best shinobi to be seen in the Naruto universe but all of them have key traits that make them good and if they were some how taken from them they would suffer. If you still think Sasuke?s abilities are cheap then you obviously just dislike him or you?re a Raikage fan and think anything done to counter him is cheap.​

As the maker of this thread, you should be the one who tells us why Sasuke is stronger, if he is. And since he's currently not exactly in a great position to win the match ( even after he pulled out two of the three great Mangekyo moves ) you have to work harder to prove your point.

Making a thread isn't just giving a title and then going all fanboy and posting a picture of Sasuke. O_O
Tell us why you think he's better, and if your arguments are logical people will agree.
Making a thread and saying "yay he is great" is, surprisingly, not logical. O_O
