This thread is simply to show Gaara's real Oil weakness

"The Trollkages oil, that Gaara has mentioned to seep through his sand and destroy it, isn't exactly just oil. It is a mixture of water and oil. This is proven when it was referred to as a " " thus implying that it isn't just oil, but water as well. This is confirmed to be the case, when Onoki was explaining the mechanics of Joki Boy. He mentioned that the Mizukages body contains .

[*]Normal Oil

Now, the substance that others like j-man and his toads use is pure oil. A and very flammable substance.

The difference between the two, is that the oily water the Mizukage uses is very slick and slippery. Reason why Gaara noted it to seep threw his sand. While in contact with the sand, the watery oil turned it into a gooey, slimy, . Normal oil lacks the watery substance to make is slick and slippery in order for it seep threw Gaaras sand as effectively. It would just cause the sand to stick together and clump up. Also, it is worth mentioning that oil and water can not mix. So bringing up Suiton Oil attacks is futile because it wouldn't work. The oily water is innate only to the Trollkage. "

Yup. Basically. Not sure why people say water is Gaara's weakness though...

A filler showed water making his sand heavy and slower. The logic made sense, so I guess people just accepted it.

Huh. Well fillers are non-cannon and Gaara splatters his sand with blood all the time, so I will go against that belief.

That filler with the *****s that tried to steal Shukaku used water to **** Gaara up. I don't consider it canon but...I guess it kind of makes sense.

This, even more so when we have seen gaara actually control his sand when it was submerged. When the kage launched a tag team attack against madara gaara was manipulating his sand whilst it was in the mizukages water dragon.

If it's Gamabunta oil then yes it's his weakness. Bunta would spit out to much for Gaara sand to replace.

Oil

The "oil" that was stated to be Gaaras weakness, and the oil that Jiraiya uses ,are not the exact same substance.

  • Trollkages Oil

The oily water is innate only to the Trollkage.

Oonoki said the oil was on the outside of the body while the water was on the inside and The 2nd said as long as he has his oil, not oily water . Gaara said it resembles oil more than water even though it was more likely to be water so it's characteristics would be more of oil than water . Yes it's mixed of both but it resembles more of Oil as Gaara stated

Jiraiya used his oil so Konan can't split into paper and . Until we see it used on Sand we can't be sure how it would work for sure but if it stopped Konan's paper which water doesn't then it should work on Sand as well. In your link it said it stops movements so wouldn't it stop the sand as well?

ya didnt read anything did you?xd

so would a combination water oil from the toads be effective?

nope, oil and water dont mix,the water would just wash off the oil.

Damn dawg thanks for the credit but at least make it more readable

hehe no probs,i just wanted to point out the oil thing,i didnt want to turn this into a gaara vs j-man thread.

...Gamabunta and spit both oil and water

dosent matter,it wont mix, only mizukage has it.

look at the difference. Joki boy has oil on the outside and water on the inside, however, onoki said that the clone was made from the oil amd water inside the mizukage's body. So while in the clone the water and oil are not mixed,in the mizukage, they are.

This is further proven by the fact that gaara's sand didnt break apart after catching the clone, unlike the mizukage who broke gaara's sand coffins and gaara needed to use a giant sand pyramid to hold him. Whereas gaara's only problem with the clone was the explosions and controlling it's temperature, not it's oil.

The worse thing that the oil will do is just stick to the sand, and probably make it heavier, but i am pretty sure gold is 20x denser tha water which is denser than oil,and gaara still used his sand after being mixed with gold.
