Appearing in a blind flash behind the shinobi, sword unsheathed and raised to the shinobi's throat, Kakuzu proceeds to question him about his knowledge on Kenjutsu.

He who does not respect the sword is not fit to wield one. He who does not fear the sword is not fit to use one. That is my motto. What do you know of Kenjutsu, young shinobi ?

What if that's all I know?

Well, of course I know more, but apart from my initial explanation, which essentially summed up the essence of Kenjutsu, everything will only be further elaboration. My initial explanation was, while scantily done, really all there is to know. And if, and only if you could give me an explanation of Kenjutsu that isn't basically 'techniques that use swords and may involve chakra', I'd gladly do anything you want. :)

Kenjutsu is about techniques which involve the usage of swords, and of course, by swords, I mean bladed weapons with varying lengths, all variants being viable to use in Kenjutsu combat. Like Taijutsu, it doesn't necessarily require chakra, which means even Samurai can do this shit. Kenjutsu could range from simple slashes/thrusts(with each motion having its respective benefits) to chakra waves initiated from a swing of the sword, which brings me to my next point.

While not necessary, chakra may be used to augment the power of a blade, and hence, be useful in different ways. Genjutsu may also be used through the blade.

Everything I've said could have been put, one way or another, into my initial explanation. Could you, perhaps, o almighty NK, give me a better explanation that isn't too verbose and frankly, pointless?

I guess that will do.

(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.

For your first technique, I want you to hit me with a sequence of slashes using your blade, before ending the frenzy with a final slash to my neck. Fear not, I'm going to keep my skin hardened throughout the usage of your technique, so I won't feel a thing. To give some realism, I'm going to feign pain and pretend that each of your hits have an effect on me.

Key Points: Despite the simplicity of my explanation, you must fill in the blanks so to say. Specify which hand you wield the blade with, the direction of the slashes (don't have to specify for random slashes and frenzies) and so on.

(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.

In quick succession, you will then punch me a few times before finishing with two final slashes with your sword, aiming them to deal fatal damage. As with before, be specific in the way you punch e.g. is it a frontal punch or not ? What location are the punches aimed towards and what effect do you seek to achieve with them ? Where are the final two slashes aimed towards ? Yeah, you get the idea.

I guess templates are too mainstream u_u

I begin by grasping the handle of my sword with my right hand in a loose one-handed grip, allowing my sword to hang limply at my side. Then, taking a step forward with my left leg, I enter striking range, bringing my sword up to my chest level before bringing it down in a diagonal slash which strikes your chest-abdomen. I then bring my katana upwards, before slashing in the opposite diagonal across your chest and abdomen once again. Then, pivoting on my left, I complete a clockwise spin, using the momentum to further aid a horizontal slash from left to right across your chest. I then end off my sequence by taking a step forward, before slashing your neck diagonally.

I begin by raising my arms, before performing a jab with my right arm, aiming at your solar plexus. However, this is a mere fake and I retract my arm quickly, before jabbing your head in quick succession, knocking it back. I then extend my left arm, taking a step forward and punching your chest, causing asphyxiation if it connects for a while. I then perform a right hook striking the side of your head as your head 'returns', before ducking and jumping upwards, performing a left uppercut to your lower jaw. I then draw my sword, performing two clockwise spins, first slashing your chest, before slashing your neck, cutting your head off/slicing your jugular vein.

If you need more detail, stahp.

Template for Kenjutsu ? Baldy pls.

( Enjin Ranbu ) - Circular Wild Dance
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user spins with his tantō, hitting the target several times.

Now, I'd like you to spin in the clockwise motion on the spot, striking me with his tanto with each successive revolution, making sure to target a new location with every spin. You will do this a total of five times. You have freedom of choice to choose the locations you strike, but the fifth and final strike must be aimed towards underneath my chin, sending me up into the air and setting up for your next technique usage.

( Rakkasui ) - Falling Water
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 25
Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.

While I'm airborne, you will jump up and pursue me, quickly overtaking my position before unsheathing your blade once more. Point your blade down towards me, before striking me with it and drilling me back towards the ground, spinning as you do this to mimic the exact motion of a "drill". Normally, your rotary motion would cause the opponent's body to spin also (since your sword would be lodged in their body) causing them to become disorientated even before they collide with the rock hard ground.
