Though you're going overboard with this... Sakura should get genjutsu abilities. Kishi stated she was a genjutsu type then said **** all to that -_-... Even naruto who's absolutely shit in genjutsu has a genjutsu attack. Even if it's through ma and pa, that's still better than none.

kishi has a nasty tendency to mention things about character then totally forget them in down the line doubt he will give sakura genjutsu now, when he hasnt mention it in a long while now.

Actually, it would make sense because it wouldn't be pulled out of no where.Sakura main characteristic was genjutsu type from the beginning of the manga.Being a genjutsu type means genjutsu comes natural to you, just like being a fire type, water type, lightning type, etc comes natural to other shinobis.Kishi lack of character development doesn't change the previous facts of the manga, if Sakura can dispelled a A-Rank genjutsu as a genin, she can definitely cast one as a chunin.Now will this happen, I doubt it, but it wouldn't be pulled out of thin air like jutsu genjutsu gives to other characters.

she never used it once in the series from part 1 until now the only think she did was dispel genjutsu, you're the one assuming she has genjutsu.
