Because when placing one under genjutsu techniques, one manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.

Sakura has the best chakra control in the series, only rivaled by Tsunade...maybe Mito.
And judging from how genjutsu works, her genjutsu would rival those of Itachi, meaning they would be almost impossible to break, because she is > in chakra control.

Is this why Kishi is waiting so long to have her use it, and we know she would be a natural at it.

You know what i think that if she had mastery over genjutsu that would make her pretty powerful. She has monster strength but if she is not fast enough to catch her opponents all that strength will mean nothing. If she is able to immobilize them with genjutsu she will finish most fights with a one hit KO.

I know you want your favorite character to be all powerful, But she is not.
I doubt she will ever use genjutsu, and if she were to pull it out now in the war, it would make no sense.
