minato beat obito back when the leaf was attacked, i dont really see gaara beating Minato, Minato is just to fast for gaara's defenses

Obviously, I exaggerated with the low diff. But the fact that you find this thread laughable does not change it's outcome.
Minato loses.
I think you have to watch the manga from the beginning again.:)
If after all those 660 chapter and you came up with the conclusion that Gaara is stronger than Minato, then
you might as well want to check your reading comprehension because the manga CLEARLY placed them in entirely
different levels that Gaara does not even come close.

Actually, you never bothered to read my thread. I said minato is overall the better ninja.....gaara is just a bad Match up for hin.

Another example is how the raikages speed gives him the edge vs sasuke. But he has enton/susanoo, which makes him a bad match for Ay.

Either one could win imo. Minato is bad at long-range battle and Gaara is bad at close-range combat. It depends whoever utilizes their advantage, but with Gaara's ultimate defense, I think he's more likely to win

For you're how can he hit a flying opponent I'm pretty sure he could just jump, he will have his marks on the field so if he does jump, and gets in trouble he can just teleport away

Alive Minato honestly lacks anything to harm Gaara with.
Summoning: Food Cart Destroyer Technique (throws ftg kunai/ ftg's off the kunai and bam)

Mutually Instantaneous Revolving Technique (via clones)

Rasengan (throws ftg kunai/ ftg's off the kunai and bam)

Gamabunta's Combination Transformation/Fire Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet/Toad Oil Bullet/Toad Sword Beheading/Water Release: Gunshot

Using his summonings are his best bet but even then I don't see something like food cart taking Garra out. Or even Gambunta alone. Summonings killing off kages are quiet laughable. Gaara sand is enough to kill of Gambunta by crushing his legs. Rasengan is out of the question. Once Gaara knows of Minato's ftg he'll start to keep his distance.

Gaara beats alive minato mid diff. Minato's speed comes with his ftg, gaara's ability to alter the surroundings makes ftg on kunais and objects useless. And a simple sand tsunami will end minato unless he summons bunta, who will just get his legs crushed.
