Minato isn't the best offense you know. If he could take hits from Lee Gates Mode whle being a kid, Gaara could easily tank hits from Minato. Minato's best chance is Flying Rajin, which special sand can prevent.

The only reason he took those hits was because he had Shukaku he would'v
e been stomped by Lee if he didn't have himU_U

But the thing is Gaara Sand can't keep up with Minato. Gaara Sand couldn't keep up with 5 gates so he won't be able to keep up with FTG. When he sees an opening he can mark Gaara or Rasengan

I mean...he has shuriken clone no jutsu...(I mean to be honest after they get in range its over) but lets say he can react (he can't)

Minato could just stand his ground (and probably bait himself like he usually does) and move the seal onto gaara.

Yup...I said it. And so did the manga in so many ways. Not saying gaara is overall stronget than minato, but gaara is a bad match up for him.

1. Gaara can fly. Minato can't. He has no ranged jutsu that gaara would even consider a threat.
He's not marking him. Let's be realistic. And I'll tell you exactly why he's not<

2. Sand shuriken. With gaara flying, minato would have to throw his kunai, which mind you, is a regular kunai...nothing special about it but the paper seal on it, can simply be intercepted by sand shuriken. This ours minato at a extreme disadvantage because:

If minato doesn't mark a ftg spot far from the battlefield, he's dead...I'll explain< if gaara decides to do sand tsunami and change the landscape to that of a desert, even if minato throws a kunai, it won't travel far enough in time to outrun this massive wall of sand.

4. People say gaara needs a location advantage in certain fights. Guess what? Pts gaara turned a forest into a desert in a instant while constantly making his own sand. He can make any location homefield.

so by your logic gara should had won against madara as well . because gara can fly while madara can't win. so gara can just keep on attacking madara from sky while madara will just keep on defending .

Not even with Shukaku , are people forgetting that he has Toad summing & Lawd Gamabunta took on Shukaku too , he counters anything with Space time barrier , he can seal Gara , he could probably mark his sand too , there's a lot of ways Minato wins against Gara.

You people are stupid. You keep saying gamabunta like he is immune to sand spears/hands and being sink in quicksand 300 yards under the earth. Easy target for gaara.

Because gaara will stand there and let what ever object he seals touch him.
What ever it is has to physically touch gaara to place the seal. Sand ball will keep this from happening.
