What are you guys talking about? To unlock MS you just have to experience some sort of emotional trauma. Sasuke took Itachi's eyes, but the only thing that achieved was immunity to blindness. His core MS tech is still his own. And no, Orochimaru didn't drug Sasuke (unless that was stated somewhere in the manga that I just forgot). Orochimaru trained Sasuke, and I believe gave him immunity to poisons (which might be the drugs you were referring too).

However, even if a character is using borrowed power, it does not mean much. To become OP in the ninja world like kabuto put it, you should steal other's powers because all ninjas are humans and can only reach a certain power level

yes but rinnegan itself isnt borrowed,it was awakened by madara.madara borrowed MS and SENJU DNA...and now bijuus.on the magnitude of power we can surely say that madara borrowed the most but what i am saying is that kabuto was borrowing a lot more

If someone creates a jutsu and you learn it from him you are using his power.

Yes they are. Learning from someone is not borrowed. Using weapons is borrowing. That's why it is irrelevant to argue about such things. Most Ninjas depend on borrowed power and it is a fact.

Its true that Sasukes main source of power currently is from his MS, however that isn't borrowed power. Sasuke was born with the sharingan. The MS is a natural evolution of the sharingan, thus all MS tech are his own power. Naruto's -Jinchuriki-power is mostly borrowed, for example, as he wasn't born with Kurama (well he was, but you know what I mean). Kakashi's power is borrowed power, as another example, as he took Obito's eye. And just about everything aside from the Chidori and summoning jutsu was a result of his borrowed sharingan eye.
