I thought they were really cool when I saw them used in the battle RP when I first joined. However, after some time had passed I signed the Hyena contract so I was unable to sign the snake one. Fast forward one year; I randomly decided to create a Cobra biography and do him justice. That would mean getting him to sign the snake contract and possibly make customs related to him. (I was going to go for Gajeel steel but I felt like this new road would have a sweeter end once I complete everything I have in mind. If possible if course )
Anyways, enough babbling, you are probably drooling from the boredom. So, snakes.. snakes... well they are very flexible, virtually having no bones in their bodies. (I think?) Certain type of snakes can release poison/venom while others can sense heat or vibrations. RP wise they are quite fast and have good reactions in terms of physically ability. They can also shed their skin both in real life and in the RP, allowing them a cleansing of sorts.
RP wise they also have the heat sensing abilities. They also have a skeleton comprising of the skull/jaw (the jaw being detachable from the skull and also split down the middle) and a full spine and ribs down the length of their body. There muscles are also ridiculously strong.

After being shown the necessary hand seals, Erik quickly bites down on his bottom lip with his cainine-like teeth, effectively drawing blood as he wipes his left dumb across it. He then proceeds to unravel his right sleeve, smearing the newly drawn blood across the snake summoning tattoo. He then continues to rapidly chain together the Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, thereafter slamming his hands on the ground, causing a web of kanji to spread outwards in a circular manner, creating a medium sized cloud of smoke, summoning a.....

He then continues to rapidly chain together the Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram hand seals, thereafter slamming his hands on the ground, causing a web of kanji to spread outwards in a circular manner, creating a medium sized cloud of smoke, summoning a much bigger snake. The new snake's appearance is quite shocking, having not one, but three heads attached to a single body. Erik is seen standing on top of the left head, attempting to maintain his balance as all three heads shift from side to side.
Shadow Snake Hands doesn't require a blood sacrifice and is relatively quick to activate.
For these large summons, the usual blood sacrifice and seals are needed with the exception of Manda. Manda requires you to smear your tattoo or the seal on the scroll atop of the seals in order to summon him. The scroll I've noted when suigetsu checked up on Sasuke when he was fighting Deidara, noting that he had summoned Manda by the disappearance of the summoning seal. Of course, I don't know if that happened in the Manga as I only watched that part of the anime xD

Erik scratches his head after being instructed to reverse summon his snakes back to their homeland. "How do I actually make them go back?" Noticing Erik's incompetence they snakes then reverse summon back themselves without Erik's aid.
I did absolutely nothing...
Erik then extends his right arm forward and releases two snakes from beneath his sleeve by using the summoning technique. He commands the snakes to travel forward and wrap around the tree in front of him, quickly circling it and tying it down.
I would release the snakes with one hand and release tagged kunais with my other hand, reducing the angles in which my target can escape if he attempts to do so. I would do this by throwing the kunais to his sides, behind and above him.
Erik then extends his opposite hand and releases a torrent of snakes, increasing their numbers drastically from the first time. The snakes continue forward and wrap around the same tree, aiming to crush it with their mere physical strength, snapping it in half like a twig. (Are we allowed to do such things? So many snakes together I would imagine it might be possible.)
If I had time to actually counter the technique I would most likely get into a low stance like I sheathed my sword and channeled lightning chakra throughout it, allowing me to slice through the snakes like butter. If I was already caught in the technique and my hands were against my body, I would either struggle to reach for my sword's handle and release a whirlwind of wind to blow away the snakes by using the peacock technique or I would release unfocused electricity to shock the snake's system, allowing me to be free'd as they let go of my body.
Alright, so I've dropped all of my students in an attempt to get them all to move on. Nothing personal, I just feel bad for my lengthy absence from teaching. Sorry >__<

The snake will then tunnel up from the ground elsewhere and attack the enemy. (So long as they are within mid-range of the snake shedding)

Would I be able to use the snake replacement technique with minor techniques like the shadow hands? Or are they bound to 'real' summons. Also, would I be able to use them with custom snake summonings?
Erik hears the instructions and thrusts his right hand forward, releasing several snakes that head towards harmless rabbit. The wave of snakes strike the rabbit, sending it into the air as they then detach themselves from Erik's sleeve, thereafter spinning around it's spray as they continuously attack the rabbit, dealing minor but constant damage.
Rather simple and clear technique, a more combo-oriented technique as opposed to the previous one I learned. No questions.
You can only use them with the real summons, such as Manda, Three headed-snake etc. Custom snake summons, as long as you're summoning an independent creature (not a ninjutsu based summon like shadow snake hands).
(Hebi Risu no Jutsu) – Snake Explosion Technique

Description: The user turns their hands into a number of huge snakes that hit the opponent upwards. Next, one snake grabs the opponent in its jaws and drags the opponent into the pile of snakes left below. The user then sends a pulse of chakra into the pile, detonating the snakes into a massive explosion.
Note: May only be used once per battle
For Orochimaru, his hands would turn into huge snakes... for normal people, it's a similar effect to shadow snake hands jutsu... just a larger number of larger snakes. Swinging the group of snakes to send your opponent airborne, one snake would shoot out ahead of the group to bite and hold the target and drag them back into the pile below where they'd be trapped momentarily... you'll then send a pulse of chakra into the pile of snakes, at this point they'd detach from your arm and proceed to explode.
If you can find a picture or something of this jutsu, that'd make it easier to imagine... I think it's a game jutsu and I have had no luck finding such a picture for you.
(Jagei Jubaku) – Snake Authority Spell

Description: The user extends Large snakes from their sleeves, which then coil around the target/s and then binds them. With the further addition of the users murderous intent they then can weaken their targets resolve and temporarily paralyze them in place.

Basically a shadow snake hands justu where you'd use the snakes to catch and bind your target in place. You'd then use Sakki (Killing intent) to paralyse them in place. This counts to the use of Killing intent by the way.
(Mandara no jin) – Myriad Snake Net

Orochimaru used this against Naruto in their encounter near the start of Shippuuden. Basically you summon a massive number of snakes from your mouth, that rush and overwhelm your target with the sheer number.

For these jutsu, discuss points about them that you find interesting; uses, weakness and other things along those lines. You don't need too much detail with the Snake/killing intent jutsu... we know that's a weird one.
The user is able to send numerous number of huge snakes which is a plus. Although I don't necessarily know how big the snakes would be. One of the weak points I see is that if you are not Orochimaru you can't transform your hands into the snakes which at times, could prove to be quite useful and keen for surprise attacks. Still, using it from the sleeves is also a good and sneaky way. I would use this technique when my target is already busy countering something else, when he is physically immobilized or possibly inside of an illusion that allows me to strike in time. It doesn't seem like a straight on attack unless you are in CQC.
(Jagei Jubaku) – Snake Authority Spell
The official "badass" jutsu. Just imagine yourself in the roleplay walking up to someone and binding him with large snakes as you cause fear to flow through their body as you release your killing intent? It's just awesome. Speaking of which, you basically get a two for one with this technique. An advanced and stronger version of hidden snake hands plus killing intent.
(Mandara no jin) – Myriad Snake Net
Although it doesn't require hand seals it does seem like it require some preparation as you have to lay down (possibly) to release such a large number of snakes from your mouth. You can't simply release such a large number instantly, nor can you skip to other techniques so fast neither. I would use this technique after I've forced my target to defend himself from any other direction that isn't frontal, that way he is unable to completely kill off my snakes. I'd like to say I could combine this technique with water wave-related techniques but it seems as though the snakes might easily be killed with whichever technique will be sent to evaporate or take out the water. Although, depending on the rank, I might be able to pull it off.
After reviewing our training thread I think I have no other questions =)
Edit: Once training is concluded, will I able to to automatically summon Manda once I reach the appropriate rank, or do I need to contact you and it be taught?
