You mean one of the five war potentials? Or are you referring to something else?

Because the problem here is, when the Quincy first invaded, Renji was a complete useless ****er. He goes to the Soul Palace, does a bit of exercise under a heavy spiritual pressure, and now has this insane power. Don't convince me otherwise, but that was a really cheap character development. These power levels are just stupid.

Sorry, I love Bleach, but this chapter was just... I don't even know.

There were many steps skipped, we didn't even see half of the training they received. How can you get so alarmed when you know half the story?

Ahhg.. I'm mostly annoyed considering how easily the captains were beaten. If they weren't, and Renji had shown up like a boss, then I'd be fine with it..

Don't forget, the two guys who had their asses hand to them last week were captains. Remember what that title means. Because it seems the stuff Kubo is pulling out right now, is making people forget that these Shinigami are meant to be the cream of the crop.

Also, this 'training', why not just make all the shinigami receive it? I know what you're going to say. Plot. But it doesn't feel right, how they can spend some hours, to a day, at the Soul Palace and pull all of this off?

Either Tite Kubo can't manage his power levels, or Yhwach is right, and the current Gotei 13 are absolutely weak.

I think you forgot one thing, the ones that got the training were predicted to become stronger. I mean I've always had the feeling that Renji and Ikkaku would surpass the captains, do you remember the time they said Bankai was only for captains who had trained for it for decades? Yet those 2 were able to use, for me that meant that they sooner or later would be stronger than them.

And yes, I'm also very dissapointed in the captains. pff, look at them, getting one-shotted like that.

Renji has been captain level for some time now, he's been training hard to surpass Byakuya. Him being this OP after training, its a little bit surprising, I wonder what level the Royal Guards are at.

Don't know why but the chapter really felt short of my expectations, half the time Renji was just saying a bunch of one liners that got less badass each time. The captains where made into fodder (Vizord captains) and frankly I don't see why people like Renji so much his character is boring. I hope one of the other (stronger) Quincies that isn't Juha or Hash personally I hope B-bazz pushes Renji to his limits.

Now Rukia was interesting she seems to have powered up as well now I hope we get to see her fight and hopefully a new Bankai.

Now I'm kind of hyped to see what Uryu and Ywach will be like fighting not to mention Ichigo he could probably fodderize most of the captains now.
