On what tier would you put Haku and Zabuza?

As you said yourself Kakashi on their first encounter severely underestimated Zabuza, which was him being a BAD NINJA. Even though Kakashi was slightly stronger than Zabuza, Kakashi under-performed and would've been dead if not for his genin students who came to the rescue.

But I remember you claiming Temari and Kankuro with intent to capture win against current Kakashi with intent to kill, so nothing will surprise me anymore on your part.

1. Seems to me like the same logic you used to determine Kabuto=Zabuza as you wrote earlier.
2. Everybody makes mistakes and Kakashi is no exception. It doesn't suddenly make him a bad ninja. Itachi, for example, made a much worse mistake of feeding Sasuke's hatred which turned him into a criminal.
Besides, the only ones who'd die if his team didn't help him were the genins and Tazuna. Zabuza would need to release Kakashi to finish him off and obviously Kakashi would not waste this opportunity.

Rerrad the fight. Zabuza's water prison, as opposed to Kisame's, didn't drown people. Kakashi has told Zabuza's whole story from childhood while being inside it. Doesn't seem like a wise thing to do if you're drowning. To finish this senseless arguement, Zabuza himself has said he would deal with Kakashi later. That leaves no shadows of doubt that his water prison wouldn't kill Kakashi.

i put them on top 20 list heck if zabuza had haku join in the fight when they encountered team 7 the manga would have ended cause zabuza showed how pathetic kakashi was withotu obito's sharingan

Zabuza is high jounin level because he managed to fight on par with Kakashi who himself was high jounin level. Haku didn't display many feats against Naruto and Sasuke back in part one since he was holding back but his war arc feats had him catch Sai off guard, use ice as a shield and he can also decrease the temperature in a given area which would hinder his enemy's reaction time. A serious Haku is around mid jounin level.

I'd put Haku around Hayate's level, and Zabuza around Asuma's level.

Two-man team they would beat? Those Demon Brothers from the start of the series, sure. A real two-man team, though? They wouldn't stand a chance.
