OT: For family, friends, presents etc. I'm Christian so I give God a prayer at night to thank him. But we don't actually know when Jesus birthday is lol

It is insulting. This is why I really hate religious people ._. You said, and I quote "no flaming of anybody's religion." Now, this does not mean "Nobody flame Christianity because I'm Christian but it's okay to flame every other religion."

This means that you should've not have flamed anybody's religion. So going on and spouting your nonsense of your religion is the only right religion is exactly what you're saying not to do, because it's flaming other religions. This is what we call a "hypocrite."

I don't celebrate christmas Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25th even somebody with half a brain should be able to figure out that Jesus died at 33 1/2 years old. Half a year = 6 months, you celebrate Easter/ Passover in March and April. Count six months back you don't get December.

December 25th is the date of the Saturanian festival, whose traditions sync up almost perfectly with today's practices, people don't research these things though.

In West Bengal, India we celebrate Christmas bcos despite the religious borders Jesus in stories seemed to be a man of kindness and sacrifice which many of us adore ... that and the fact that the English occupiers left the tradition (we still continue it for the earlier sated reason).

speaking one's religion is not bashing another religion, it's stating what you believe. not once did naija or sir blades make any derogatory remark about any other religions or try to discredit anyone who has different beliefs. and for all anyone knows, sir blades could just be a considerate person and didn't want other people to get upset at jesus being called a fictional character.

I like the atmosphere of christmas time though, people are generally nicer.

I have always celebrated it with my family, its always been one of those days that i have the best memories with my family, honestly it isn't even about the awesome gifts i get its more about how i can sit down with my family for a whole day laughing, eating together, sharing memories, having a couple drinks with my old man and just relaxing. Christmas in my house is about the quality time u spend as a family.
