Look at the VIZ translation. Hashirama first says about how Nardo shares chakra with the alliance. That shows he was only talking about one person who is giving out that chakra and compares it to his volume of chakra. Then the under panel, look at what he says. The key word in the next panel is ''No'' which shows Hashirama had retracted his statement because he now is sensing 2 chakra of kyuubi. Yin Yang. Then he never made any comment about it.

So that means he only competes with Nardo shared chakra. Second, you say full kyuubi together. Now that's also wrong because kyuubi was not transmitting all of its chakra but portion of it. Yin kyuubi was connection between the alliance and Minato's chakra.

Instead he clearly said "He" as in Naruto, has almost as much chakra as "I" referring to himself. So no, he was referring to Naruto's chakra, not the chakra he handed out. Original Japanese translations say the same thing. Him praising Naruto because he shared his chakra with every Shinobi doesn't mean he was comparing his own chakra to that handed out chakra when he clearly says "He" as in Naruto.

That is only him praising and exclaiming at Naruto's feat. It doesn't mean that he compared it to the volume handed out, especially when he said Naruto himself as almost as much chakra as his own. Not the chakra he handed out, cause the chakra he handed out isn't Naruto, its chakra he handed out.

Bold1 is false going by what the manga clearly says. Naruto having almost as much chakra as him means that Naruto has as much chakra as him, it's as simple as that. Your interpretation of him being surprised that Naruto can share that much chakra and comparing the shared amount to his own makes zero sense considering he never said that.

Naruto has almost as much chakra as I=/=The amount of chakra Naruto shared with the alliance is almost as much as my own.

You already have a scan of him clearly sensing Naruto's chakra, which proves he's a sensor, and sensors can sense chakra, meaning they can sense the amount they have in their reserves. "Naruto has almost as much chakra as I" already proves he sensed Naruto's chakra capacity and compared it to his own, and this is while he was linked with both Kuramas.
