He's considered one of the most beloved characters in the manga. In my eyes, he has the most thought out and interesting stories. Probably one of my most favourite characters. On the other hand, he's usually not placed in vs threads because he is countered by a small number of characters, and those threads have been discussed so many times making it again would be a waste of time. Although every here and their you'll see someone make a interesting vs threads with him.

Who wants to love a Naruto fanboy TJ?

Nagato is an amazing character. I simply ignore his trolled state. Goes from all powerful leader to scrap tool. 1. TNJ'd by the book 2. Turns our Tobi was using him 3. Revived and jokingly Totsuka'd (though Kabuto's fault) 4. Turns out Madara put the eyes in him. Instantly dashing his originality in his special power. Also by terms of genjutsu, his hatred of Konoha is a fabricated lie based on Genjutsu. 5. Turns out the guy who used him and took his eye, could hardly use the Rinnegan and ended up being used by yet another guy. Despite how much unfair and cruel abuse Kishi put him through.... 1. Still the best Rinnegan user so far. 2. Still one of the better villains (pre TNJ). 3. Cool look (Not old form, but his Pre-Leg injury look). 4. Kind hearted guy. 5. Didn't **** block YahikoXKonan

this U_U that kishi sure knows how it rip apart a great character.

just kidding, only one reason for that, he's dead and aside from Itachi (some people actually worship the character/thinks it's funny), dead characters are rarely mentioned, people start to forget about them/focus on what's currently happening.
