Why no love for Nagato :c

One of the best characters in the manga Pain/Nagato gets no love

All I see on the base is fans of Itachi, Obito, Madara, Hashirama, Tobirama, Sasuage and Naruto

THE ONLY bad thing about Nagatos character was how he died, once to TnJ and then again to plot :L, makes me sad that there are hardy any Nagato fans :'( When he was a true badass

Nagato has had plenty of love on this forum, literally. I never see people that hate him, just people that praise him. Nagato is a good character.

Izuna eyes laid the foundation for madara's ems which ends up being turned into a rinnegan, put inside nagato, made him the OP figure he is, also gave way for obito to gain properly control of the gedo mazo, have 6 paths of pein which made him pretty OP and also for his big brother's revival aka the rinne tensei in recent chapter so really,

where is the love for the guy's eyes made the top tier characters..epic??

Nagato is an amazing character. I simply ignore his trolled state.

Goes from all powerful leader to scrap tool.


1. TNJ'd by the book

2. Turns our Tobi was using him

3. Revived and jokingly Totsuka'd (though Kabuto's fault)

4. Turns out Madara put the eyes in him. Instantly dashing his originality in his special power. Also by terms of genjutsu, his hatred of Konoha is a fabricated lie based on Genjutsu.

5. Turns out the guy who used him and took his eye, could hardly use the Rinnegan and ended up being used by yet another guy.




Despite how much unfair and cruel abuse Kishi put him through....

1. Still the best Rinnegan user so far.

2. Still one of the better villains (pre TNJ).

3. Cool look (Not old form, but his Pre-Leg injury look).

4. Kind hearted guy.

5. Didn't **** block YahikoXKonan

I like nagato, I still prefer the 6 paths of pain as villains over tobi/madara. Back then the rinnegan was a mystery, the series was much better as well since not too much was BS was going on.

He's my favorite character. And he's one of the most universally liked characters in the manga. Easily one of the best characters in the manga when it comes to characterizations.

Nagato's conversion was handled horribly though and that Rinne Tensei, that can just f**k off lol
