Clearly there's no doubt that among all Senjutsu users Hashirama is by far the strongest, simply because his Statue is unmatched, not even Naruto stands a chance against him without Kyuubi more or less despite his Perfect Sage Mode.
His chakra levels are enormous and unseen for a living human.

It's also true that what keeps Madara alive is the very same Sage Mode by Hashirama.

Well... nevertheless, Madara just did pity on that power as a weak power.

Sasuke might be able to learn it, I'll admit that much, but he's not going to just learn it in the midst of a war. How the hell is he supposed to learn to be perfectly still in this situation to even try and gather nature chakra. Also he doesn't have the shadow clone training method like Naruto (who did not learn sage mode in just one day) so he won't learn it anytime soon and it probably wont be as easy as it was for naruto (due to clones and fukusaku with his chakra expelling stickymabob) but I bet he could learn it easier than jiraiya did and perfect it also.
