What anime/manga have you dropped?

I've dropped quite a few.
Black Rock Shooter
Durarara
Date A Live
Love Complex
Bakemonogatari
....and the list goes on..

The only one on your list I've seen is Durarara!! and I love the interconnectedness of it, but I also loved Baccano!

Darker than Black,SAO, and cowboy Bebop,Gungrave,YuYu hakusho,ruroni kenshin,samurai deeper kyo.
i guess i don't really like stories that focuses too much on one character.

I know it's all opinion but you dropped some classics. Cowboy Beebop has a great story, YuYu Hakusho had some meh episodes but as a whole it was pretty entertaining, Ruroni Kenshin had good action but in fairness I approve of almost anything with samurai or ninja, same goes for Kyo. I'm curious did you watch them in the 90's or are you watching them now and does the art style have anything to do with you dropping them?

1. cowboy bebop, i couldn't follow it, even though many of people were furcing me to stay on it, it was to boring and predictable, and sucked
2. K-on, got through season 1 ok, but then it just got old
3. Appleseed XIII, i was a fan of the movies and the series didn't do justice to the characters, so i dropped it

I really disliked bebop. especially since people kept telling me and forcing me to watch it, it sucked end of story. I only got to episode 10 or 11, episode 5 was the only good one IMO

oh I also dropped Sao, since i absolutely refuse to watch Gun gale online, episodes 1-14 were ok, 15-26 sucked and I will not and will never ever even consider watching the season 3 gun gale online

i was about to watch them these days, i've watched a couple of yu yu hakusho episodes,and it felt like DBZ and bleach,it felt a deja-vu,so i decided to stop since over100 episodes is a long ride.sam with kenshin.

I tried and dropped Code Geass, Sword Art Online, Bleach, the original FMA & Hitman Reborn REALLY far in (refused to watch the ending when flying magical dinosaurs became a vital plot point in a serious arc)

I also dropped the Death Note manga after L died. Happened to see it on cartoon network one day and was like "might as well see how it ends" and finished the anime.

Yeah I forgot about Fairy Tail. I haven't read/watched since the end of the Magic Tournament. I mean seriously...Do they have to win everything? I agree it is just too mushy and one giant piece of fan service for me to continue with it.

Let's see...more than dropping, there's a few manga I started to read and then nothing...but I do pretend to finish them someday:
-Pluto: I don't know why, being so close to the ending (I stopped by chapter 54), I didn't finished it already XD Must be because I marathoned it, and it's never a good idea. I feel awful later >.>
-Black Bird: I read like 2 chapters lol It wasn't boring, it just wasn't the right time.
-Kanata Kara: Same as Black Bird lol
-Vagabond: Same as Black Bird lol
-Arago: I read like 8 chapters, and passed two small arcs..and then I noticed the third wasn't much of my liking. I'll finish it tho. At least now I'll be more prepared!
-Domu: One of the early manga by Otomo-sensei...And well, there are some noob mistakes that make the reading a bit slow and difficult (small panels, too much text in a single ballon and so on). Either way, I'll finish it (it's so short as to not to do it).

The only one I dropped for good is Fairy Tail. God, it was hella boring for me.
Oh...yeah, Naruto as well. But I guess I will read the ending so...someday I'll catch up.
Regarding anime, the list is even bigger than with manga lol Too lazy to write it down...but I did drop these for good:

I dropped fairy tail at episode 100 something, because it was just annoying me..the horrible clichés, the neverending friendship strenghth...now i officialy hate Fairy Tail U_U

Sword Art Online and Fairy Tail. For Fairy Tail the fan service was everywhere so I had to stop watching it and Sword Art Online kind of got boring about half way through.
