What anime/manga have you dropped?

Out of simple curiosity, i would appreciate it if you all shared with me the name of the anime/s that you have dropped either recently or in the past and why you dropped that said anime. xd

Personally I've dropped many but the most recent one that i can remember dropping is Kill La Kill. Why did i drop it? because not only was the animation bugging me but the story just didn't catch my attention and the anime itself just got way to crazy for me.

I dropped One Piece, Berserk, and Shaman King

One Piece because the characters, story, and overall art didn't appeal to me. Nothing against the manga as a whole just not my cup of tea.

Berserk because shortly after Griffith defeated that thunder demon god dude it took like 3 months for one issue and those issues spent literally 10 to 12 pages of just scenery with little to no story progression. Now I think they are finally cancelled altogether

I dropped Shaman King because it was just way too kiddy for me. Nothing really kept my attention.

That's all I can think of right now.

Why? Because over-zealous fanboys hyped it up to levels that it couldn't sustain. People talk about this manga/anime like it's the greatest manga ever made when it's just a try to hard manga reliant on gore to cover up it's mediocrity to me.

I can understand this. I love the manga/anime, but yes you hit the nail on the head when you say that they realy on excessive gore to cover up the ho hum plot....which basically...there isn't one. The "plot" is just an excuse to get people eaten up by giant retards and skinnless giants wrecking everything. I love mainly the gore and the art, but I can't say it's the best written Manga out there. Honeslty Naruto has more of a story element then AOT.

1. cowboy bebop, i couldn't follow it, even though many of people were furcing me to stay on it, it was to boring and predictable, and sucked
2. K-on, got through season 1 ok, but then it just got old
3. Appleseed XIII, i was a fan of the movies and the series didn't do justice to the characters, so i dropped it

I really disliked bebop. especially since people kept telling me and forcing me to watch it, it sucked end of story. I only got to episode 10 or 11, episode 5 was the only good one IMO

oh I also dropped Sao, since i absolutely refuse to watch Gun gale online, episodes 1-14 were ok, 15-26 sucked and I will not and will never ever even consider watching the season 3 gun gale online

Bodacious Space Pirates. Reason: Boring. Kinda sucks.

Persona 4. Reason: It was a good series but I was losing time to watch it and Anime Network's run on it passed me. So I waited too late and by the time I had looked they had the episode I was on gone. So mostly because of my procrastination. Reason for that procrastination was probably cuz I wasn't feelin it as much as the other stuff that was on, ya dig?

Place to Place. Reason: It wasn't really that I didn't like it as much as it didn't fit into my priorities much. I was mostly watching it to watch it, maybe.

Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere. Reason: The dialogue got so f*ckin corny at some parts and I wasn't really into it.

Mysterious Girlfriend X. Reason: Ugh. It doesn't suck but it's nasty af. I missed its run (on AN) too. If I hadn't I prolly would have finished. I might go back and finish it someday.

Coppelion. Reason: Boring. Kinda sucks.

Log Horizon. Reason: Boring and just plain uninteresting imo. Doesn't really suck doe.

Date A Live. Reason: I missed its run. That's really the only reason I dropped it. Lol I 'll prolly pick it back up sometime. Hopefully Funimation puts it up on their TV Channel.

I've got Gargantia and KHR on hold. Might drop em too. KHR hasn't pulled me in yet (but I've only watched 3 episodes) and Gargantia seems dope but I don't feel like I'll have time to watch the shit. Might drop Kaze no Stigma too, doe.

The ending for hitman was bad xD and i never tried black butler

Date A Live was alright xD and Gargantia is good if you like slow paced anime. If you want full on action then yea...it will disappoint =/
