Until now Sasuke should have soloed the entire war.
First it was the Juubi.
Then it was Obito and his plot power against ninjutsu.
Now it's Madara who healed himself.

And finally Madara is using SM and a simple taijutsu until he gets his Rinnegan back? Lol

I really dont think that Amaterasu is overrated. Its powerful, but somehow almost everytime when it was used the enemy had the perfect counter for it.

Despite that, the number of people who have such counters is very limited. That jutsu is strong.

Itachi used it on sasuke, oral rebirth saves him.
Sasuke uses it on obito, kamui saves him.
Sasuke uses it on bee, he sacrifices a limb and luckily survives.(but he did got owned)
Sasuke uses it on raikage, gaara saves him (raikages loses to amaterasu otherwise)
Sasuke uses it on danzo, izanagi saves him
Itachi uses it on nagato, shinra tensei ...

Sasuke uses it on juubi, it is too big to be burned by the little amaterasu naruto and sasuke used.
Then it gets used on juubito and madara, one absorbed it and one canceled it.
