So, everything u can tell me to prove that Itachi can counter Kamui is this^^.

Its difficult to talk about character who was never fighting with intention to kill but with feats he already showed and analyzing any jutsu in secs plus with preparation leads him to the victory. Its a facts not my opinion.

The best part about this is obito is using kamui so itachi effectively one shorted the air.

thats why i said he had a low opinion of obito as a person not as a fighter you can think of someone as a loser or a perfetic person yet they could still be better than you at certain things

itachi sees obito(madara) as a pitiful dog who won't accept defeat and is still trying cause chaos but he is still a threat, also itachi couldn't kill obito as he doesn't know obitos secrets as proved when he attempted through sasuke so this proves that itachi can't kill obito when ever he wanted as he doesn't have the information to do so you could argue that he could if he had all obitos secrets but that would be giving itachi something he doesn't have

I think the secret here is that Obito knows truth about Itachi not some hiden Obito powers...

The other reason why he didnt tryed to ambush Obito is cuz Itachi had only one goal - die in front of Sasuke. He probably saved his eye sight which already was really bad. If he would fought Obito he definetly could die because of overusing MS. As you said he was logical so had no choice but let Obito live....

Its just speculation. The only secret which would forced Itachi to kill Obito is - the truth about Itachi. First thing Itachi asked Naruto after death was about Sasuke(meaning his secret). Plus he spyed Obito so its big possibility he already did know about Kamui. You cant say NO 100% cuz you have no prove.

We going in circles, cuz he thought ama is enough to deal with Obito. Maybie Itachi really thought hes a pathetic fighter afterall. Amaterasu these days are extremely underrated. It burns till burns everything. Its even hard to understand how Obito escaped it without atleast burning his clothes.

Last time i checked, Konan almost killed him without any S/T he lost arm against Danzo fodders... Please dont make these silly boring nonsense Kamui > NV cuz you destroying your looks....

Minato saw through and beat Kamui because he has S/T Jutsu. Something Itachi lacks.
Konan saw through Kamui due to years of closely watching Tobi. Something Itachi did not do.
Fū and Torune were still beat.
