Itachi could kill Obito anytime

I swear people think Itachi is omnipotent or something when it comes to analysis. There isn't any real guarantee that Itachi would figure Kamui out. Kakashi is just as intellegent as Itachi and it took him ages to figure it out (even with the other kamui eye).

Tsukiyomi can be broken since Obito is an Uchiha and is on par or higher in terms of genjutsu prowess. Amaterasu you already adressed. Susano'o won't last 5 minutes so kamui fixes any issue's with sussano'o. Add in mokuton and the stamina it adds and Obito takes this. I'm talking about pre-war Obito as well.

Man i already said this i mean its a facts not my opinion.
Rinnegan vision, Chibaku tensei, Edo tensei - Itachi easily saw weakness of these jutsu.
Plus stating - every jutsu has weakness, makes him invincible in analysis category.
I dont know how much prove you need^^^ that he could see Kamui weakness easily.

Obito has Kamui (1 hax jutsu), Huge Stamina (can battle for at-least full day/night), Mokuton, Rinnegan, intangibility ability with his MS (another advantage of Kamui) plus Obito is not fool either. Obito is smart too.

So Obito has more chances of winning against Itachi.

Note: Every jutsu has some weakness. This goes true for Itachi's jutsus also.

Honestly i've always thought that until Tobi got the rinnegan this would've been a VERY even fight and I personally see Tobi coming out victor more often than Itachi.

The thing that's always struck me though is that if Itachi believed he could take out Tobi then, surely he would've done it? Tobi was the one person who could've made Itachi's life plan with Sasuke unravel and make it all for nothing- which is exactly what happened. Itachi was a logical man and tried to leave nothing down to chance so this really does indicate something.

The other reason why he didnt tryed to ambush Obito is cuz Itachi had only one goal - die in front of Sasuke. He probably saved his eye sight which already was really bad. If he would fought Obito he definetly could die because of overusing MS. As you said he was logical so had no choice but let Obito live....

and no itachi could not kill obito anytime the guy claimed ems was needed in order to surpass him also why didn't he then itachi is no fool and just saying itachi is a failure isnt an explanation as the truth of the matter is itachi never once confronted obito with the intention of killing him. if itachi was enough to kill obito at anytime then he would have instead of letting akatsuki do what they did the best thing itachi was able to do is spy on akatsuki and so long as he staid in akatsuki then obito would stay by his deal and not attack konoha
