Jiraiya being revived would ruin the manga

The only reasonable way for Jiraiya to be brought back is as a source of info in Naruto's subconscious. Not making an impact on anyone except Naruto. And not being physically brought back to life.

Well it would just make his death pointless I mean, I actually cried during the chapter and to just bring him back like that would ruin his entire character for me :erm: Why would they bring him back? What could he add to the story? Jiraiya shouldn't have died for nothing.

Interesting. Yes, I also think it wouldn't be wise for the plot, it makes his death meaningless and also it wouldn't have any purpose for the future of Naruto. Interestingly, under this logic, even Minato shouldn't be revived.

Naruto is from those guys who keep growing up by themselves. His two-and-a-half years of training with Jirayia served him to know the relationship between godfather and son, kind of a family. But nonetheless, being a tomboy doesn't suit Naruto as a character.

Two, it is alluded to through the numerous flashback references in the manga and Gamabunta being unavailable. Three, in order to master sage mode Gamakichi told Naruto that you must die first. Four, his placard was turned in the Ame hideout indicating his presence and when Konan gave that final rainbow the view from peering upward looks like something one would see from the bottom of a well. One of the final comments from Jiraiya was about escaping the well into the wide ocean and in the ancient legend the Gama Sennin lured the three legged toad out of the well with a string of gold coins. The rainbow was likely a final warning from Konan and double entendre since rainbows are associated with gold coins.
