I dislike Obito the most of all the characters in Naruto, and im relieved he wasen't the final villian of the show, the reasons for me disliking him many, might aswell write em i guess.
1. He, Obito was a brilliant support character that really helped shape Kakashi in to the guy most of us love, and had he just stayed dead, I would have praised him well beyond the blue sky, but alas, he survived being crushed by a boulder by using his Mangekyu Sharingan ability Kamui before he had obtained it (back then he only had the 2 totem sharingan) and a plot hole like that (and there is no question about it, that is a plothole, and a huge one at that) just rubs me the wrong way.
2. He ruined the mask man for me... I loved goofy Tobi, and when we found out that "goofy tobi" was just an act, and that the masked man was not only highly intelligent, but also the man who was the real leader Akataski, working in the shadows, controling everything... Epic man, just epic, and when he claimed he was the real Madara, people.... wow... and then all that potential was wasted and at the same time ruining a brilliant suport character...
3. I personally belive that the only reason Kishimoto made Obito Tobi was that he wanted to do that from the get go, not taking in to account that his story had evolved to such an extend that it was impossible to do so without creating many plot holes. (which means that Kishimito sacrifising his intregity of the story just to make Obito Tobi!)
and no, the problem is not that Kishimoto wanted Obito to be the mask man from the beginning of his story, the problem I have with it is that the story/plot of Naruto clearly had evolved in such a way where it just made no sence to make the masked man Obito, but he did it anyway. And by doing so he created several plotholes, and then we had sit and watch (and waste like a ½ year) watching Kishimoto trying to dig himself out of all those plotholes, and sure he got himself out of a few of them, like making Madara give Nagato the rinnegan before Obito was born, or giving Obito so many powerups that he could fight toe to toe with the 4'th hokage at the age of 15-16.
4. How Kakashi unlucked the Mangekyu sharingan for Obito.
5. all that Rin nonsence, i mean come on for a man that claim Rin had nothing to do with his actions he sure kept talking and thinking about her hua? and he even supressed the Juubi with the Memory of Rin .... sure Rin dosen't mean anything to him... -.-'
6. The Obito fanboys, and how they constantly say that Obito is perfect and the only reason anyone could dislike him is just because we are either haters or jealous of the fact that Obito > our favorite character.
7. How OP Obito was, even before he became the host of the Juubi/wannabe sage.
8. How the fanboys claimed that is was so obvious that Obito would be the masked man after the reveal. When it fact it was anything but obvious, people started saying Kishimoto was a troll at that point and for good reason, and not to mention the fact that the theory (Obito = Tobi) wore discarded by pretty much anyone with even the smallest amount of common sence. (the only thing backing that theory (when you don't take speach Obito gave Kakashi and Guy just prior to the reveal) was the fact that they both had black hair, and they both had a sharingan) (and its not like we have seen anyone else with black hair, or the concept of stealing "powerfull eyes" wore a concept that had been trown around... ohh wait it was...) Sins Itachi killed all the Uchiha, there must be some Uchiha somewhere that wasen't kill by Itachi, who could that be? and sins Obito wasen't in the town but got crushed to dead by a boulder something like 20 years prior to that event, the masked man must be Obito!
