Naruto is gimmick excuese of a prophet who preaches and supposedely an underdog with the most op beast in his tummy, op genes, hokage as a father and m-fcking child of prophercy.

Minato is nothing but a toothpaste smeared over a sunflower.

Choji isn't THAT bad... I mean, he was sort of cool in the Sasuke retrieval arc.. And I am actually starting to like Minato now. Well, sorta..

You are asking why people dislike fictional characters.........because the character is written in a way that you wouldn't like in real life?.....duh...
And you are asking why we even care at all because it's fictional....well you see every book, story, proverb, or anything shared in any way fictionally ever was meant to evoke emotions, and does because we as humans have developed empathy combined with our high intelligence allowing us to transcend reality to the point of giving our real emotions towards fictional things, things that we even know are fictional. It's a unique and highly intelligent thing......
Some people are just more caught up in their empathy with this reality than others, and that's why they bash =\

Having said that...Sakura is the worst :d.... Sasuke is prissy and naruto tries too hard to be good. And most villains aren't really villains

Orochimaru,his whole character revolves around Sasuke.
He doesn't care about anything else,his motivation to live,breathe and crap and almost 100 % of his dialogue is about Sasuke.
He is no different from Hinata,honestly.
I dont know how this guy is praised from the fanbase when the likes of Hinata and Sakura are rated as one dimensional,he is no different than that.

Ok, you might have good reasons for disliking these characters, but wasn't it obvious from the start that Naruto will grow up to be the first and ofcourse ever since he started changing ppl from part 1, it should have been clear he's ur typical manga protagonist

I really don't have a character I can't stand being given panel time but the closest thing for me is Karin. She had a great concept going but it literally took a huge plummet when she started hitting on Sasuke again.

Well she's there for comic relieve and what you dislike her for is why others like her, I don't think she's a character meant to be taken seriously, just there for humor. You should understand this

It is obvious that a cookie that had been put piss into its dough would taste like piss from the beginning; that being obvious does not make that cookie taste better.

Chouji's panels for crying made me dislike him; i don't mind crying characters but he is annoying to me. Overall annoying character for me that's it.

Orochimaru is evil, pure evil. He wanted Sasuke's body that's all. And now he's changed, well a bit... How does that make him a bad character?

She's apart of Team Taka. She's Sasuke's teammate and healer, she's Sasuke's "favorite", she's an Uzumaki. I could see how you think she's comic relief judging by how she's acting in recent chapters, however we've seen Karin's serious side numerous times. And she and the rest of Taka played a big part in the transition of sasuke entering "true darkness" in the Kage summit arc.

And I apologize if it seems like I'm coming at you cause thats not the case. I just get tired of the fact that people dislike her character because they think she's "comic relief" or a "fangirl" cause neither of them are true even if she has some of those traits which most characters do. But like you said these are just fictional characters and we shouldn't get so worked up by them

Karin -she have nothing i like and have everything i hate in a character.

I usually dislike villains (she is villain she worked for orochimaru and helped him by gaurding a prison of innocent villagers )

Unless they have one of this traits

-Strong

-good looking

-have a good reason for being evil

-good back story

-funny

-badass

-intresting


And karin doesn't have any of the above Imo

Which describe karin perfectly

She is selfish her 'supposed to be funny' moments were in a war
where people dying (shika important character was at threat )
Yet we see her fantasizing about licking sasuke d!ck.
instead of trying to help even suigetsu who is a villain .point that out .

But i am sure kishimoto doesn't take her character seriously .

Ps : i like kishimoto humor sometimes on other things even suigetsu he make karin scene less lame
