Freaking Kiyoshi. That clan is so broken. Undetectable energy which can only be detected by Sage Mode users. U_U

There are ways. If I'm not mistaken, energy is still energy. Just takes some basic physics in order to "notice" something strange. Such as particles condensing. Depending on how the energy works you could feel a push or pull as it's created, different temperatures, vibration, a type of tingling etc. Just depends on the type of energy being used.

Not talking about in a naruto sense, talking about in a rl sense if the technique involves creating an object (mass), particles must condense. The higgs bosson study is very informative on this actually. So to "create" anything with the clan's chakra, it must have mass to attain a physical form. No matter how light it is. In other words, when you are trying to condense a lot of energy it will begin to create mass. Unless the clans chakra works in the sense of it being similar to photons which have no mass (which I don't see). If you build up more and more chakra in the same spot, it will have mass, as it attempts to attain physical mass, it will be felt. In a naruto sense, where there is chakra there is pressure, first shown in the Zabuza arc. Therefor chakra in of it'self must have mass of some kind or be able to create it in large quantities. You may not be able to feel it around you, but to attack with it, it must gain mass that's enough to be able to attack with in order to do damage. Thus upon creation, you could feel whatever object is being created. The human body also has something very cool about it. Once in pain, the body likes to react on it's own and instantly move away from it. Therefore, in an RP sense, you could counter the attacks.
