You should understand in manga that Madara's advantage will not stop here. If he's just alive, he'll be in the same situation Obito was. Madara will gain the upperhand on the SA in the next chapter, I don't think Kishi will stop just by making Madara alive.

Utilize the shinjuu. Even with the beasts gone the So6p is still the Sage as long as the mazo I exists. Mazo = shinjuu
The shinjuu probably just stopped cuz Obito's chakra was outside his body. With a new user the shinjuu should start up again.

One of the members posted a brilliant thread yesterday, saying the Tengu was about to be the main villain, and I'm convinced. So probably, Madara eating the fruit would give him God like powers and his trump card is probably using Hashi's Sennin Mode to manipulate the Shinju and awaken the Tengu. Madara+Tengu= unstoppable.
