Status does mean success, but what does status matter in lyrical warfare? When people like Chief Keef get hype you know shit like that is flawed. Something's wrong when you think Trinidad James being more famous than X means X can't body him and end his career. Anyone can get ethered in the game.
I never said anything about bad blood, I said he'll get bodied if he does some shit. This has nothing to do with his career. Again, it's lyrical skill. It doesn't even matter how Kendrick feels for Drake, dissing Drake = more fame for him. Beefing with Drake would = more fame for him, and Drake obviously doesn't want to feed Kendrick when he's already eatin as it is. No one give a shit if Drake's career ends or not Lol.
You're missing my point entirely. I never said status or success has anything to do with lyrical warfare. My point is, Drake is above Kendrick Lamar as far as success goes. There would be absolutely no reason for Drake to start a beef with Kendrick... I mean for what? Literally no point at all. Beef in the rap game is usually either A) over some personal shit, B) because one nigga is seeking attention and wants to create some buzz before their album drops and/or just simply wants to be relevant, or C) simply just doing it for the sport. In Drakes case, it isn't A, as the two don't have any turmoil with each other. It certainly isn't B because who is more relevant then Drake right now? And it isn't C because Drake isn't a competitive rapper like Kendrick is. So again, Drake's reason to start a beef with Kendrick would be what....? He'd gain nothing out of it.
And you're completely off target. In Kendricks case; dissing Drake doesn't equate to more fame/success. Not at all. It's actually quite the contrary. Staying friends with Drake means features, tours, overall more recognition for Kendrick. Once again, he really wanted to be on Drakes album... I wonder why? Who doesn't want to be on Drakes album at this point. Kendrick Lamar isn't dumb enough to start beef with Drake. Look at Pusha T and Common. Both were dissing Drake and Lil Wayne conveniently right before their albums dropped. Were they the topic of discussion for a little while? Sure, but did it really do anything for them at the end of the day? Not at all. They're back to being irrelevant. Lastly, Kendrick can't forget who really put him on before he became mainstream

He simply wouldn't go around dissing Drake just for some petty reasons.
Status doesn't mean much in a beef. As an artist as a whole, Kendrick is on a level Drake can't get at.
You wanna talk about resumes? Kendrick has collaborated with Eminem, Jay-Z, Game and Dr. Dre. When has Drake ever been on such a level? Oh yeah, he made Forever with Eminem. But is Drake's verse remembered? No, look at a Forever video or ask about Forever, people will say EMinem killed it, and not even mention Drake unless they're making fun of him. Look at a Love Game video, people are talking about how BOTH Eminem and Kendrick bodied the track.
Kendrick has also been hailed as the King of the West byfrom Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Drake has yet to receive such a level of praise from anyone as iconic. And even if he did, he could only be the king of what, ****ing Canade? How many rappers are from Canada? How many rappers from Canada has been called top tier and legends in the rap game? The fact is, Drake will never be on Kendrick's level because Young Money shaped him and ruined what could have potentially been a really great rapper.
I never said it was. As far as your comment goes regarding Kendrick Lamar being on a level of artistry Drake can't get at; that's blasphemous.
If you REALLY want to talk about and compare resumes, then so be it. Drake drops hit, after hit, after hit. He drops a record and the whole world tunes in. His lyrics become trends. He dominates radio play. He has been nominated/won too many awards. His songs/albums sell numbers only a very select few rappers can match/out due. He pioneered the new wave of mixtape rappers; making mixtapes sounding like albums with his mixtape So Far Gone. Shall I keep going...? Most number one singles with only 2 albums out. Hops on Versace and has rapper after rapper remixing it, replicating his flow. A versatile voice; can rap and sing. Has 2 classic albums. He's a record producer that has written songs for the likes of Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys, and Jamie Foxx. Just this year alone, he's worked with and collaborated with Justin Timberlake and Jay Z. He's also worked with Kanye West and Eminem, as you pointed out. Like are you kidding me right now? Kendrick isn't even coming close to touching Drake on these terms.
Then you made some weak ass attempts to try and discredit Drake. Forever? Are you serious? Does one song reflect on an artists entire career? Nicki Minaj hopped on a track with Kanye West and Jay Z and ended up having a better verse then both of them. Does that say anything for Nicki Minaj? Not really, because people still think she sucks. If you're suggesting that Drake can't hold is own on tracks with Kendrick Lamar, then you're horribly mistaken. They've both been on tracks together where Drake is no where near out-classed with Kendrick who is more lyrical then him like in F**kin' Problems and Poetic Justice. Then he out raps Cole on the Jodeci Freestyle. Drake got bars, some niggas just sleep on him because of the whole singing get-up.
Nas said people like Drake, J Cole, and Kendrick are saving Hip Hop. But he also went on and said that Drake is the future. He's gotten just as much praise as Kendrick has. And who gives Af if he's from Canada and can't claim to be king of whatever coast; the niggas up there with the big boy's putting up numbers and getting the same recognition as Jay Z, Em, Kanye, and Wayne. I find it funny how you claim that Drake won't ever be on Kendrick's level when Drake is already above it. Say's a whole lot for Kendrick who is supposedly above Drake's level to come out and say he "hopes" and "God willingly" will be on Drakes album. That speaks volumes as it's not only Kendrick, there are countless of people that want to be apart of what Drake is doing right now. The dude is on top, and there is no denying it.
