As the titles says, does anyone else feel as if the Beatles are just... ONE of the first rock groups around so they always get credit for being good, even when they are actually mediocore at best? I mean, all their songs sound a like and there is no difference in tone or mood.
Unlike another ban at that time, that actually does transition fairly well. You may have heard of them, THE ROLLING STONES. So, the main purpose of this thread is to see what people prefer. The boring and same Beatles who take acid by the metric ton to just produce songs that will get Hippies excited. Or, the cultural and revolutionary Rolling Stones.

And please, do not just say "The Beatles becaus they inspired everyone!" Like every band says in interviews. They were just FIRST people! It doens't mean they were the best! They did not revolutionize the genre! They may have pushed things a bit faster, but the real credit goes to bands such as Rollign Stones, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeplin, et cetera.
