Well, in my opinion the Hyuuga and the Uchiha would be equally related to the Rikudou, unless the Uchiha are all Inbreed, which i highly doubt because if that was true the Elder Son's eyes would still be around. Same thing can be said for the Uzumaki, i believe

While Hyuuga may indeed have some distant connection with the Uchiha, I think it's way too off to talk also about a connection with Rikudou. Same about Uzumaki, they're just "distant" relatives. Frankly put, the only clans who have direct connection with Hagoromo are ONLY Uchiha and Senju.

Though, as I said, I think people misunderstand the Hyuuga and link it with Hagoromo. I actually believe that some Hyuuga ancestor stole a Sharingan, mutated it and made it his own and his successors' kekkei genkai.

I already said it's an assumption, not a wild one though. Actually, this is the only least abnormal assumption I can come up with. I can't see any other way of the creation of Byakugan. Who knows, maybe Kishimoto prepared something for us about it, but throughout the series the Byakugan was ignored and never developed, thus I think Kishimoto will leave it without a backstory. However, associating it with the Rikudou Sennin is way off.
